Hello all! Just thought I would drop in and let you know how the wedding was...

It was BEAUTIFUL weather all week...except for the 1 hour of the wedding! That is ok though...we got to do the ceremony on the balcony of The Attic and the cake inside The Attic (in the Boardwalk). If anybody considers this room it is wonderful!! I think I am glad it rained!

Hair and make-up? I loved it...Disney Cosmo...Rex on make-up and Lisa with hair. Both were so nice. I gave very simple directions telling them I am not a big hair/make-up person and they made me look great.

Disney Photography - UGH UGH UGH the worst part of the whole thing. Vicki was not at all friendly to us. I had to ask her to take pictures of the groom. We ended up with only 37 additional proofs on top of the 12 in the folio. For the additional $225 for proofs and the $150 to rush them? NOT WORTH IT. I am regretting not going to the outside for this. I am currently in discussions with Stephanie at Photo to make this somewhat worth my money.

Stan at STVS - LOVED him. He was great. He took pics of us for the video...gave us a few ideas for extras. Can't wait to see the final product.

Flowers - beautiful

Cake - chocolate with buttercream (DH's choice) tasted like a Ring-Ding or Yodel! yum. We actually got it back to NY to share!

Jennifer - a sweetheart to work with. Now that I have met her in person I wish I had more dealing with her!

You look beautiful and you both look so happy!!! I've never seen pictures from the balcony of the Attic before, it looks like a great location, I love how you can see the Epcot ball!.

So sorry to hear about the photography. I've seen a lot of people say the same thing about Disney's photography service, and that really has me worried. I dont' know if I can afford to cover the 10,000 minimum AND use outside photography, but having good pictures is really important to me. I guess I'll have to see what my budget is like.

Thanks for sharing your pictures - it looks like you got lots - although I suppose if you've paid extra for the proofs it's a lot of money to pay.

I'm getting slighty worried about DPS - although the photos are lovely - we might just have the 12 as my brother is going to take pics for us...

I’m sorry to hear that you had problems with photography—I do think that the pictures you do have a really good though (they used some really neat shots, especially around the BoardWalk). You both looked great and so happy—my mom calls those big grins “32 tooth grins.” From your pictures the Attic looked like a wonderful location—I don’t think I would’ve been disappointed with the rain either!

Your pictures are beautiful. What worries me is that so many people have bad things to say about Disney Photography. Is there anyone else someone can reccommend that's not too expensive?

Thanks for sharing your pictures. What you did get looked beautiful, but for $225 you should have definitely got more pictures for your money!
You are not the first person that has had vicki as their Disney Photographer and was unhappy with her. I read a poor review of her on another forum.
I would keep up with Stephanie Sharpe at DPS about that problem. That is totally unfair. We had problems with our DPS photographer too, but in the end we still got 150 pictures of our wedding day.

I am definitely staying on top of the problem with Stephanie but she has been out of the office all week. If I don't hear from her tomorrow, I will try Jennifer (the coordinator) again. She has been VERY helpful.
