Wonderful trip, celebrating our anniversary so it was just DH and I. First time at F&W and spent the majority of our time at WS. We tried some wines but we really aren't wine people but the beers were alot of fun :cool1:

Let me see if I can recall some of firsts we experienced:
Epcot:
- Saw the England players skit, very funny.
- Ate at Chefs, loved the french onion soup.
- Had my first mushroom filet at Le Celllier, outstanding it practically melted in my mouth.
- Did Soarin at 8:30 in standby and got to experience the pictures on the wall, great idea to make time go by.
Magic Kingdom:
- DH first time seeing Wishes, this was on our last night so it made it that much better.
- Took DH on Tom Sawyer island, didn't find any paintbrushes, but was happy to see some little ones come back with one.
AK:
- Learned never to go to the park that has EE morning. AK was nuts we went to the one trail with the gorillas and hippos and then left. We had already did AK earlier in the trip.
- MGM:
Did One Man's Dream - Loved it a true gem.
Castrophe Canyon - ok, would have liked to spend a little time looking at the props in the one room.
Did they change the headrests on R&R? They were much better this time, my head didn't bang around like usual.
Our stay at BCV:
Second time staying here, first time in a studio. Perfect for DH and I. Loved the hot tub down at the villas pool great after walking the whole day. Did not find a problem with the sheets on the queen bed, they stayed tucked in and I thought they were plenty big. This was our first trip using Owners Locker so I left a ton of stuff in it. My trip in Jan will be our first trip where I will truly appeciate having it.
My only complaint would have to be that the balcony was filthy. I think that was mostly due being on the woods side maybe also 5th floor. But even that was great (5th floor not the filth). TofT was directly ahead and the Effiel Tower was in plain view also.

Ok, I have to get a ton of work done now. Ask any questions! :goodvibes

Did you check in in the BCV lobby and if so, what did you think?

Welcome back!:wizard:

Your anniversary trip is so inspiring. We have an anniversary trip coming up in June. I can't wait!

Do you two plan on making this a regular trip for your anniversary? I have a feeling, once we do this anniversary trip, we will be instantly spoiled and have to do it again and again!:wizard:

I'm glad you had such a great time!

I enjoy the French onion soup at Chefs too! The last time I went, I had it with the scallop/shrimp dinner and thought the meal was perfect.

It was very easy. The girl took my cc and checked us in under 10 minutes and our room was ready and this was before 10am. The only thing that went wrong was that she didn't apply my cc to my room key. So the next day we were at MK trying to purchase breakfast at the bakery and were denied. I was panicked thinking Chase put a hold on my cc because charges were coming in from florida. I was told I had to go back to the hotel in order to get it fixed so we had to cancel our plans for lunch at the Plaza.

That is the exact meal I had! It was perfect. I wanted cream brulee too but need to leave room for stuff at F&W.

We also lived in Bucks County for 13 years! We lived in Yardley Hunt...some of the best years of my life!!! We recently went to a wedding at Washington Crossing Inn and relived lots of happy times with friends.

We're celebrating an anniversary trip next year, in June...Glad to hear that yours went so well. We are bringing the family because we just live too darn far from everyone, and WDW/VB are great gathering places.

I've lived here all my life, Grew up in Levittown and went to school at Pennsbury. Now we live in Jamison, outside of Doylestown. It is pretty here and you do get all the seasons I have to remind myself that when I think maybe we would like to go a live near WDW :goodvibes

Glad to hear you had a great trip! 67 days and counting until our second trip to BCV.

Fellow Bucks County resident as we are in Quakertown. Nice to see a lot of DVCers from the area.
