We got back today from a fab 2 weeks in Florida....I'm planning on doing a trip report....but here are a few of our highs and lows

Highs:

Animal Kingdom Lodge....it was stunning
Wizarding World of Harry Potter and getting in at 7.30am before resort guests
Hoop dee doo review...a big thanks to Wayne and Diswolves for your trippies which inspired us to book....both DD6 and DH were picked for the show
Teppan edo, thanks to Matt for his utube clip

Lows:

Flights....bumpy both ways...food terrible on the way home
MNSSHP.....very disapointed, we enjoyed it so much in 2009 but the crowds were so bad we got hardly anything done....it was MAD, don't think I would do it again

Sounds like you had a good time.

So many others have said things about MNSSHP being too crowded. We are going 1st November, so hope it isnt so bad then:confused3

Glad you had such a good time at Hoop :thumbsup2
It is always depressing when you get back, but I am sure if you write a trippie
re-living the memories will help soften the blow .....until next time! :goodvibes

Im glad you had a good time.Did you stay in Jambo or Kidani? Sorry you had a dissapointing night at the halloween party. It was busy when we went last year but have heard a few say it was very over crowded this year.
Looking forward to your TR.

We stayed at Jambo, I was going to take a look at kidani but never made it...DH went over to have a look and said it was fab but not as impressive as jambo.

Glad you enjoyed Hoop and Teppan Edo. Hope we get to do Hoop again next year.:thumbsup2

You left at the right time - almost constant heavy rain today and more forecast for the next few days :(

Depends what you go to MNSSHP for, I found last year it very crowded for getting character photos and the fireworks and parade but rides were a walk on.

Glad it was more highs than lows.

sounds like a great trip!!!

one question - why did you get into WWoHP before resort guests?

We got our universal tickets through Virgin and they offer early entry to WWHP.....We had to be there at 7.15am, had a free pin, free parking, breakfast in the 3 broomsticks and the early entry.......the breakfast wasn't up to much, but we bought through Virgin for the early entry....We were the first group into the Wand Shop and it wasn't full.....I was the first person into the sweet shop.....it was well worth doing:thumbsup2.....as we were leaving WWHP it was starting to fill up with resort guests but still not very busy.

Glad you had a great trip :goodvibes shame to hear about MNSSHP being so busy, we are going to one on 27th and I have visions of it being packed! :crowded:
