Yes, DH and I have returned back into the real world.

We are sad and COLD! What's up with this cold front?!?!? We left VA when it was warm! LOL.

For those who didn't know, stayed at FQ all week.
We did EMH one night and one morning: MK @ night MGM @ morning.
We ran into a VERY interesting guest...can anyone guess??? (not a character). DH said it was like seeing Walt walking down the streets...
I had my mickey waffles...and now I am hooked.
I plan on getting my trip report started this week, so keep out on the lookout for it.
We DID finally run into one DIS family. Saw lots of lime green, but nobody representing the DIS symbols (Home Depot ears ).

Also, I sent out all my postcards, so those who asked, they should be on their way!

P.S.....I think DH and I are the only ones disappointed with Soarin'...

pumpkinfish, I saw the tag on your bag from a distance. I told my husband - I recognize that screen name! He made fun of me that I wouldn't yell out after you, but didn't want to make a scene. I think that was the MGM EMH morning, but can't remember.

Glad to hear you had a good time! My DH is going to make me a tag like yours for our backpack in December!

ok...don't laugh at me about the secret guest... DH and I were flabbergasted actually! And we need some help with his name. He is that one Imagineer that is in all the Disney shows on the Travel Channel...you know, the one with the feather earring?!?

Anyways, we can't remember his name but he was walking around AK on Wed morning doing some sort of tour. DH was pushing me in my wheelchair that morning (the only time I needed it this trip- as opposed to last trip needing it every day!), and he and I both noticed him at the same time. I did a double take. DH pushed me ahead and I turned around and got a few pics- only one good one though. It was awesome! I really wish I had spoken up and thanked him for his hard work...I really am kicking myself right now

Tinkaroo~ Girl, make a scene! That's what our DIS club is all about !!! I love our tags. I asked if DH wanted one but he declines. I guess it doesn't matter since he always gets stuck with that backpack. Wow, I can't believe somebody knew my screen-name! I feel like a star

Mommyboo~ I bet that was awesome for your DH to have met Roy at least! I honestly can't think of what I would say to him...maybe just a kind "thank you" would suffice?
