New Jersey is filled with a bunch of people who call it Joyyysey...
ALL notions not facts. The South in general is too slow for me. (not a fact just a notion)
Hate that people think New Yorkers are rude.
Wisconsin just has way too much cheese.
New England people may be a bit snooty. Wrong word - proper maybe?
Would love to live In Georgia but I think they dont care for NY'ers
Nobody lives in the Dakota's cause I dont know any. lol
Everything is HUGE in Texas and the women are blonde.
Guess I could go on but thats enough for now.ALL notions not facts.
)
)Spent most of my life in New York very close to New Jersey. Spent time in California, Washington and now live in Florida, where just about everybody comes from everyplace else.
For the most part, New Yorkers are not rude and are very caring people. They sometimes have to be noisy to be heard over all the racket coming from New Jersey.
When I was in the State of Washington it seemed like a time warp back to about 10-20 years earlier.
California... well, let's just say Californians are "different."
Florida. You say Florida is full of old people? Well, I resemble that! We may be old, but we have possession of WDW!

People in Washington all wear flannel and Doc Martens and drink lots of coffee.

heck yeah we drink lots of coffee-it's cold and wet here, and coffee is the only "vice" we are not subjected to a sin tax on![]()
Texas is creepy.

I asked if his mother had ever lived in Texas. Nope. I suggested that perhaps she had seen the John Wayne version of The Alamo and been VERY impressed with Travis in particular. He thought that might have been it.....a flair for the dramatic.
A person of few words eh? Well, I'd insult where you're from too except I don't know where that is! Oh well.Texas is creepy.

As for notions, I know better now but I did have a few at one time:
People from Alabama and Mississippi talk and move slowly.
People from California are materialistic.
New Yorkers are always in a hurry.
New England folks are reserved.
People from Colorado are healthy and in good shape.

So to the PP that wants to live in Georgia, come on down. Just don't make the one fatal mistake if you do. Please don't tell us how you do it up north, that gets you into trouble every time.
