...because we got a 40% pin and booked Yacht Club instead!! So excited!!! 
So, we have been booked since Feb (the 35% off Deluxe sale) and paid in full since April and out of the blue, I get a 40% pin in the mail on Wednesday. So, at first I think we'll just call our TA, have her apply the pin, and get a little money back. Then, DH and I start looking at some resorts we've never, ever looked at before because of cost and came across the Yacht Club. When we found out we could WALK to Epcot, well, we knew we had to have YC!!
I emailed my TA to ask about using our new pin to switch resorts. She calls Disney and, yep, they tell her that they do not have any standard YC rooms available with the pin, but they suggested BC. Well, we weren't really feeling BC like we were YC, so I emailed her this morning and asked if we could use our pin to book a savannah view at AKL. She calls Disney and, yep, they do not have any savannah view available with the pin. TA calls me at work and says that she has Disney on the other line, savannah view is a no go, do we want to do BC. I said, no, I think we'll just stick with our AKL pool-view room. She asked if she should ask, just for the heck of it, about YC again and if Disney has it, do we want her to book it. I said, yeah, you can try, but, really, we'll be plum happy with our pool-view AKL.
I get an email from my TA a few minutes later saying she got YC for us!!!! Disney had magically opened up more rooms to use with the pin and we got one! Persistance pays off!
