Hi everyone! I am home from the Disney Outlet and here to post the results for Round 11 of The Waiting Game! The correct answer this week was Jungle Cruise! Great job, RachelNinja! Thanks for playing, everyone! Here are the updated scores:

We have a three way tie! This is really exciting! However, I just realized that being the dummy that I am, I miscounted the weeks. This should be Week 10, not Week 11! Apparently I skipped right over Week 9. Doh! Oh well, we will just call next week "The REAL Week 11"! Sorry, everyone! I'm an English teacher, so numbers aren't really my thing!

Today is my Dad's birthday, so we are at my parents' house getting ready to devour some homemade ribs. I will be back home tonight to post my purchases from the Disney Outlet! I found a few really good things, but I wasn't completely satisfied. It looks like I will be doing some online shopping before our trip!

High school english teacher, I can see why you would choose the older kids. I think I would feel the same way. Oh, and congrats on getting a fulltime position.

The deluxe dining plan really intrigues me. I really want to try it out, but just don't know with the kids. They don't care about the food, just the fun! I am glad you kept the Le Cellier. The filet mignon is to die for.

About all the rides you have missed at MK, I say you must try them all, especially Philharmagic. Didn't look like you had missed too much at the other parks.

The holiday sleigh ride and wishes dessert party both seem like great surprises!

Abu is so cute. Can't wait to see what you have picked up at the outlet.

LOL yeah, this past weekend was just a waste! Brandon had to work so much, I was just miserable the whole time! I'm hoping this weekend is better, my birthday is Monday, and if he doesn't have to work, we might take the ferry over to Long Island to go to a Disney Store outlet! I finally found one near me (well, kind of...just have to cross the Long Island sound to get to it! )!

I think it's more of a dry heat in California, which is much more bearable than the humidity in Florida.

Okay, it's 11:30 and I am falling asleep at the computer, but I am determined to post my Disney Outlet purchases from today!

DH and I have been planning to drive the hour and a half that it takes to go to the closest Disney Outlet for months, but we just haven't gotten around to it. I was going to wait until I was less than 100 days away to go, but he is leaving for training at the end of the month and since this is a three day weekend we figured it would be a perfect time to go.

So go is what we did! We dropped off our fur babies at Grandma's house and hit the road! When we got to the mall I made a beeline for the Disney Outlet and then proceeded to spend about two hours in there. Poor John was ready to rip his hair out! Overall I was not very happy with the selection. They had a ton of toys and dress up clothes, but not a lot of normal clothes. However, I still managed to find some treasures! Here they are!

I was determined to find a trip journal while I was at the outlet, so I was disappointed when all I saw were Grumpy notebooks. I'm sorry, but I just don't get why they have SO MUCH Grumpy merchandise. I mean sure, he's cute, but he's got a bad attitude. I understand that a lot of people can relate to Grumpy's negative outlook on life, but come on! Surely not that many people define themselves by their sour dispositions. Anyway... I thought it was going to be a no go with the journal, until I found this baby! Apparently those little characters are called Pook-a-Looz. I'm not sure what those are, but I loved that it had so many Disney characters on it so I grabbed it up! Also, it was only $5.99. That might seem like a lot for a notebook, but this is top quality stuff. It's really thick, and the paper inside is adorable:

Am I right? That's the cutest thing I've ever seen. I have this obsession with writing in notebooks, and I am already fantasizing about filling this one up with all of my notes from my wonderful trip!

Here is the first shirt I picked out! I love this shirt for several reasons. First, it's purple. Second, it has Mickey and Minnie on it, and they're smoochin'. Third, the writing at the bottom is that tattoo-looking print. John is actually the one who found this and showed it to me because he loves tattoos. (I guess that's why he's covered in them! ) Anyway, because of John's love for tattoos, I started loving them a little myself (even though I only have one) and I thought this shirt was perfect! It fits great, too. It's not too big, but not too tight so I will be comfortable at the parks. Yay! My first trip shirt! I can't wait to wear it! By the way, it was on sale for $8.00!

This is the other shirt I picked out for myself. At first I was hesitant about it because it looked like it was shaped a little funny, but it was only $3.99! Needless to say, it could have been shaped like a garbage bag and I would have bought it for that price. Luckily, when I tried it on it actually fits perfectly! It's really soft too, and the color is gorgeous. I can see myself wearing this on our first day there when we are at MK...what do you think?

This was the only thing John picked out at the Outlet. He was annoyed because all of the men's shirts were either Grumpy or Jack Skellington. Come on, Disney Outlet! Give us a little variety! Anyway, when he saw this little number he had to have it. It was only $8.00 too, so we were super excited!

There you have it! That's all she wrote. You might think we would be disappointed that we drove an hour and a half to buy four things, but we're not! We're just happy that we got to go somewhere Disney-ish and that we got four things for our trip for under $30! Now I am ready to start my online shopping!

We bought my dad a Grumpy t-shirt last time we were at Disney and we'll probably buy him something else Grumpy if we can find anything good in December. We love him, but he can be a grouch so we have some Disney fun with it! Still, it'd be nice if the Disney outlet gave you a little more variety.

You make a good point about the Grumpy merchandise. It's nice to have some Disney fun with people who can be a little crabby sometimes! Also, I got to thinking about it, and it's a little ironic that I had an angry outburst about my distaste for Grumpy. I have to admit, I bought my dad the "Grumpy Old Man" shirt they sell at Disney the first time I went. I guess I just feel like 75% of the merchandise I see for men has something to do with Grumpy.

But I digress...it's the late hour making me ramble!

Love all the purchases! That notebook is adorable - you will see all those pook-a-looz (?) everywhere in the parks. Some are really cute and some are a little strange looking to me! I love the ones on the notebook though - too cute!

Great shirts! I understand about the Grumpy stuff - a little variety would be good.
