Your wedding pictures are so beautiful! :lovestruc I love all the little Disney things you had...and that cake is amazing! I loved my cake, but it didn't have a castle on top! :)

Happy Anniversary!!!

Hi - subbing in. Now I'm only at post #30 but I just had to stop to make a comment because I'm loving it so much! You're so funny and your first trip reminded me so much of my own! Standing in line taking in all the details rather than the graffiti, gum etc. - my thoughts exactly!

Can't wait to read more! :goodvibes

Thank you so much! You are so sweet! I wanted to get married at Disney sooo bad but it just wasn't in our budget, so I did the next best thing! :goodvibes

:welcome: Thank you so much for joining in! I'm glad you are enjoying it so far! Yes, you are so right- that first trip to WDW when you realize that it is sooo much better than any other theme park is absolutely magical! :lovestruc

I'm heading over to check out your TR now! :goodvibes

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!

My best friend/college roommate is getting married in Sept and they are taking a Disneymoon. I'll have to ask her how you go on and look at her registry for Disney World because I know she registered massages, backstage tours, parasailing, and other things!

I love the Disney theme wedding! My BFF is doing a similar one but her colors are Yellow, Black, and White for the Pittsburgh sports teams!

Beautiful wedding pictures! I liked the castle cake topper; it reminds me of mine.
Too bad about your friends, but I am sure a true Southerner wouldn't really want to travel with Yankees.

All caught up! Sorry about 'The North' not being able to go. :headache: Bummer! But hey it gives you the excuse to plan another trip! ;)

Happy (late) Anniversary. LOVE your wedding pictures!!:lovestruc BTW - not sure if I'm asking this correctly but unit or division of the US Army is your DH with? The reason I ask is that my BIL used to be with the 82nd Airborne.

My 2 cents on the rides/attrations. Monsters Inc Laugh Floor & PhilharMagic are a must. Also when in Epcot WS try & check out the Japanese candy lady. That was pretty cool.

Can't wait to hear your ADR's!! :goodvibes

Yay! I'm so excited you posted the wedding photos! Thanks :goodvibes I'm so into weddings and all of that (well, I always have been, but now it's even more!), so it's extra fun when I can see pics of people I "know," hehe.

Happy anniversary to you and your DH! I love the pic of you and John outside the reception!

That is awesome that your best friend is taking a Disneymoon! Ours was so magical! You should be able to find her registry if you go to honeymoonregistry.disney.go and search for her name or the groom's. It sounds like she registered for some great stuff!

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it! That is awesome that your BFF is doing Pittsburgh colors! My entire family (myself included) would love that wedding! :rotfl: (Although I must admit it, as much as I love the Steelers, my heart belongs to the Carolina Panthers. But that's the only Carolina team I support, I promise!)

Thank you so much! Did you have a castle cake topper as well? I loved mine! I bought it on Ebay...I really wanted one that didn't have the feathery stuff on it but that was all I could find at the time. But it was still perfect!

:rotfl: You are hilarious! I told my DH that it was a good thing they weren't going because Yankees walk too fast! :lmao: I can't keep up with them! I guess it's the southern girl in me who likes to mosey!

Thank you! And you are exactly right...we are already contemplating going to WDW with "The North" next summer! Here's hoping!

Thank you so much! John used to be in the 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment (he was stationed in ALASKA! :scared1:) but now he is going through the training to be in the Special Forces. So was your BIL at Fort Bragg in NC? That's where John is now!

Thanks for your input! I definitely want to check both of those out. I have seen pictures of the Japanese candy lady here on the boards. She looks amazing!

I am going to post my ADRs in just a few minutes! I'm so excited about them! :goodvibes

You're welcome!! I'm glad you enjoyed them! :goodvibes I know what you mean, I am wedding obsessed and I was a million times worse when I was planning my wedding. I watched WE TV nonstop because they always have a ton of wedding shows! :rotfl:

Thank you so much! I love that picture too! Although I think my favorite might be our first kiss. It's a bummer because my professional pictures are so amazing, but I don't have any of them on my computer. :headache: There is one of us kissing the doorway of the church and it's just our silhouettes...it is so cool! :lovestruc

Great wedding pictures! I love your dress-- simple, classy, elegant! John looks so handsome in his uniform, too!

Thank you so much! You are so sweet! When I went to my prom in high school I always wore one of those huge puffy princess dresses, so I wanted something less extravagant for my wedding. And it was super affordable, so I couldn't have been happier! :goodvibes

I love when John wears his uniform. He says it's really uncomfortable though so that's not very often. But when he does I can't take my eyes off of him! :lovestruc

There is just something about a man in uniform. My mom was a cop & I used to be one too. Hardest job in the world is trying to concentrate on a 911 call & all of these guys in police uniforms are walking in! :rolleyes1

:cool2:Cool - my BIL (John Bagby) is currently the Command Sergeant Major for the 173rd Airbone Div, 1st Battalion, 503d Infantry. He has multiple tours in the 82nd Airborne Division and the 173d Airborne Brigade Combat Team in Vicenza, Italy. He also served at Fort Benning as a Drill Sergeant and Airborne Instructor, and at Marion Military Institute as a ROTC Instructor. He is currently on his 4th combat tours. Two in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and one in support of Operation Desert Shield/Storm. Right now he is serving in Afghanistan.

We are so blessed to have men like your DH & my BIL. I am so grateful for their service. Without them we all would not have the freedom to enjoy WDW. So thank you to both you and him.

You are right, girl! There is something very special about a man in uniform!

Wow your BIL has an impressive military career! John went to basic training and airborne school at Fort Benning! I am praying for your BIL's safe return from overseas.

You are so right, we truly are blessed! I am so amazed by how brave they are. What you said brought a tear to my eye! Thank you for being so kind. And my thanks go to your BIL and your entire family for being so strong.

The time has come, my friends! We are officially less than 180 days away from our trip, which means yesterday was ADR DAY!!

Forgive me for not posting these yesterday, but I was preoccupied by my Twilight obsession. I spent most of the day with my mom, sister (sassyfrass), and best friend doing Twilight related activities, and then I went to the 12:01 showing of Eclipse. And can I just say, it did not disappoint! Don't get me wrong, I still think the books are way better than the movies, but this was the best movie so far! TEAM JACOB! Sorry, I know... :offtopic:

Okay okay, enough of that. Let's get back to the important business at hand. I'd like to begin my ADR list with one of my favorite Disney quotes:

"Ratatouille doesn't sound delicious. It sounds like "rat" and "patootie." Rat-patootie, which does not sound delicious." :rotfl:

Haha, I love that quote! Ratatouille was not my favorite Disney movie but it has it's moments.

Oh, and one more thing: I am going to put a * symbol next to the name of every restaurant that we have never eaten at before. We are trying some new things this year, and we're really excited about it!

:dance3:ADRs!:dance3:

Sunday, December 26: Liberty Tree Tavern* at Magic Kingdom- 6:55pm
This will be our arrival day. Originally we were not going to do a park this day, but since it's just DH and I going now we will get there a lot earlier so we will be able to go to MK for the EMH that night! I chose Liberty Tree Tavern because it is "comfort food" and I feel like it will be a good Christmasey meal.

Monday, December 27: 50s Prime Time Cafe at Hollywood Studios- 7:10pm
I usually go to HS first thing when I get to WDW, but this year we decided to spend our first full day there. It will be weird not riding ToT right away, but it's okay. We loved this restaurant when we ate here on our Disneymoon, so we're really excited to go back. I almost did Sci Fi Dine in Theater, but we've been there a lot and I was trying to spice things up a little!

Tuesday, December 28: Le Cellier* at Epcot- 9:10pm
Let me just say, this baby was hard to get. We were originally going to go to Epcot on the 29th, but there were already no openings at Le Cellier that night! I have been dying to try this place ever since I've read all the reviews here on the boards so I was determined for a reservation. Finally I realized they had ONE available on the 28th, so I snatched it up!

Wednesday, December 29: NO ADRs
We are going to Universal this day for the Harry Potter park, so I am hoping to eat lunch at the Three Broomsticks!

Thursday, December 30: Kona Cafe* at the Polynesian Resort for breakfast-9:00am and T-Rex at Downtown Disney for dinner- 8:00pm
This is our "free day" so we wanted to spend most of it at DTD. However, I love the Polynesian resort (even though I've never even been there, I've just seen pictures on the boards) and DH and I are both dying to try Tonga Toast so we decided to try out Kona! We have been to T-Rex before and loved it. DH is a dinosaur fanatic, so we love the decor. This will be an OOP meal.

Friday, December 31: 'Ohana* at the Polynesian Resort- 9:05pm
I will explain this in more detail later when I do my day by day schedule plan, but we decided to go to Animal Kingdom on New Years Eve to try to avoid some crowds. We are going to do dinner at the Polynesian because I have heard such great things about 'Ohana.

Saturday, January 1: Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom for breakfast- 8:05am and Tony's Town Square for dinner- 7:00pm
This is our last full day and we are spending it at MK. It is also New Years! :scared1: We are hoping that if we get there for an early breakfast we will be able to beat some of the sleepyheads who were out late the night before! ;) We have eaten dinner at Crystal Palace before but never breakfast. I have heard really great reviews about it, though. We picked Tony's because I wanted to get at least one Italian meal while we were there. I have heard a lot of bad things about Tony's, but my only experience there was on our first trip and it was a great meal!

Sunday, January 2: No ADRs
We will have to head home pretty early on this morning, so we decided to just grab a breakfast at the Everything Pop! Food Court.

******

That's all, folks! I am really excited that I got everything I was hoping for. I will post a detailed day by day schedule later with our counter service picks. We've already decided how we want to use most of our snack credits, too! :rotfl:

Sounds great girl! Hopefully next time we do the DDP & I can REALLY do ADR's next time, since the only one we had was Play & Dine! I haven't eaten at ANY of those posted, so you will have to let me know how they are!

I had a castle cake topper that was white and blue and looked like Cinderella's Castle. In several ways, your wedding seems pretty similar to mine, which is probably why I think yours was so beautiful.

I think all of your ADRs look really good. I have been to all of them except for T Rex. Liberty Tree Tavern, Ohana, Kona Cafe, and Le Cellier are some of our favorites that we try to go to every trip.
