We’ll be there 3/19-26.

Get AP now Pro’s:
The park should be open at least a few hours after we arrive at our hotel 3/19. If the kids aren’t too tired we could go straight to the park.

AP discount the whole time.

(Sat will be a day off for Comic-Con. ) Blockout day.

Upgrade to AP Sunday 3/25. Pro’s:
This is a blockout day. May be a bit less busy.

Buy through LMT club 5 day at a discount.

Upgrade to AP Sunday 3/25 Con’s:
Miss out on AP discount

AP price May go up quite a bit.

94 views and one vote! LOL (The other vote was mine so I could see it.)

I went ahead and bought my tickets through lmt club/ Last Minute Travel 2 adults, 1 kid. $800+. I will upgrade Sunday 3/25. We'll get one more day for a total of 6 full days. Our kids have special needs and we have to get the DAC so we do better with more short days.

I'm assuming the price will go up to $650 for a Deluxe pass. Subtract the $400 value I just purchased and it will be $237.50 (with Target discounted Disney gift cards) to upgrade. It's the same price as if I bought the AP now at $619. I'll only pay a little extra if it's more than $650. We'll see how it works out. Wish I knew their pricing scheme. LOL

We decided last night I'll go on a solo trip at some point. Which will actually probably be me and my sister (possibly her friends) in November, so not exactly solo. :( But I'm going in Nov. If they decide on Sept I'll skip it!

Another note: my sis bought her parkhopper with MaxPass direct from Disney already. So, if we are with her at least some of those days we can have MP if the price has gone up too much for us in 2018.

Sorry we weren't any help. I didn't vote just because I couldn't see any option that stood out as better than the rest. All were good. :)
I think the pro to upgrading at the end if your trip would be if you were going to use an early morning park hopper benefit during your trip. If you weren't going to use that, I would upgrade early to use the discounts and possibly go in the parks a few hours that first day.

Thanks. LOL ;) We did it this way because both Sat and Sun are blockout days. If we upgrade Sunday we end up with an extra day.
