SSM - I've always held the opinion that you were a smart guy. :)

Sandy and M (I believe that Sandy is a Yanks fan) – sorry but your boys have won it enough.

Yep! We know...thanks for pointing it out to these fine folk...:teeth:

Higgs - you have great taste in women, but your choice of sports teams sux. All I have to say is Babe Ruth, 1978, Bucky Dent. YES Network recently showed the classic playoiff game frmo 1978. Ah, it was so good to relive that memory :)

Okay, Madonna, what did you do to our power? We told you that you've got to tell your band not to use so many amps.

Typical American's blaming their shortcomings on everyone else. :teeth:

Amazing though - even without the internet, television or radio - I had means to find out that the Jays beat Seattle last night...:D

pssst....Steve - you there or is the power still out in Cleveland???

I think Steve's still in the dark.

Glad to see you're back up and running, M! :D

I was going to blame it on the Jays, figuring they blew a fuse to avoid another losing cause, but then I remembered they were away :p

Thanks Jas...about 24 hours in the 'dark' so to speak...it was NOT fun, although several people were in WAY worse situations then me - so you won't hear me complaining about it.

Sandy - if the Jays were gonna "blew a fuse to avoid another losing cause" it would be for a MUCH better team then Seattle! :teeth:

Last time I checked, there was only one other team with a better winning record than the M's, and that's Javy's team :teeth:

A'hem...like I said it would be for a MUCH better team then Seattle! :teeth:

er...who the hell is 'Javy' - is he related to 'Julia'? ;)

psst...can any WDWWDS member send some water this way??? This isn't even funny anymore...

You're not trying to provoke me into posting Javy Fest 2003 now, are you? :teeth:

For everything that is good in this world; God no...

Hey M....got power back yet??? I've been thinking about you (and Boss) all weekend, knowing that Toronto was out....:)
Hope you got the emergency delivery of WDWWDS water we sent to you....:)

Thankfully, most of New England was spared in the power loss....hope everyone is wired again and safe....

BTW...this is a huge achievement....a WDWWDS thread might actually make it to the 150 page limit without getting shut down....who knew that was possible????LOL :)

Hey Higgs - so you were on vacation last week too!! Hmmm.

Hope everyone is well. We were in South Carolina and missed the power failure. Our area in Jersey only lost power for a while, thank goodness. Hope you guys weathered the failure ok Madonna, Boss, Steve.

I see I missed lots of sports talk, a Florida vs. Texas debate and an oreo eating chat. (I'll be good, I'll be good)

Madonna - our last trip to Disney was a gift so technically Myrtle Beach was the only vacation we paid for. But I'll let you know what it's like to be rich when I get there. :teeth:

Can anyone explain to me why it takes 4 hours to drive through Virginia when It should only take 2. That traffic through North Virginia is always brutal.

Hey Lizzie - welcome home! Glad to hear that your not rich and not sharing your wealth with us! ;)

My water and hydro was finally restored on Saturday, although they still are having 'rolling blackouts' so it's not exactly 'back to normal' just yet. Got to stay home Friday - so believe me when I say it could have been MUCH, MUCH worse.

I heard this morning about a woman in Detroit who was trapped in a hot, dark elevator for 19 hours, and of Toronto residents who due to the water back up - woke up to 2 feet of human sewage...ewww....SO - in retrospect, it was absolutely nothing, nothing at all...

Hey - the other 2 haven't checked in yet - have they?

Yikes 19 hours in an elevator. Poor woman. But the human sewage, that was more than I wanted to hear this early in the morning.

Other two??
