Could be worse - you could live in Tampa. I went to a D'Rays game last month and man, are they HORRIBLE!! I did buy a hat and some t-shirts for my kids, but man, they suuuuuuck.

I went to a D'Rays game last month and man, are they HORRIBLE!! I did buy a hat and some t-shirts for my kids, but man, they suuuuuuck.

You went to the St. Petersburg "If-we-build-it-they-will-come" Dome?

I think that thing sat empty for a few years before they hung a big curtain down the middle and made it the Lightening Stadium. They they got their own stadium and the Dome sat empty again until MLB came and said if they want a team they have to completely redo the inside seating and field. So much for finding out how to do it right the first time (or having a team to put in it to start with). So they redid the inside and pieced together a team. Best thing about that Stadium is that's where Cirque du Soileil comes - in the parking lot. And they're coming back in Feb - WOO HOO! Alegria here I come, baby!

Jason Williams of the Memphis Grizzlies is nicknamed JWill. They also call him White Chocolate b/c they say he's a white boy that plays basketball like an African-American.....

Yes, I was living in Kissimmee when they built that eyesore. IMO, a stadium with a retractable roof would be perfect for that area.
