Has anyone ever tried wdwpackages.com? They say they are not connected with a timeshare and their rates seem very reasonable. Any thoughts? Thanks

We are using them for the first time to book our disney vacation for this summer. I'll let you know how we like it after we get back after mid-july...

We are at our hotel right now. The hotelwe were booked into was NOT the one they listed on their site. They said something like "302 seconds from Disney" but we got booked into the one that is next to Sea World. That's not too bad. The shuttle schedule sucks. You have three morning times for pickup and three evening times for dropoff back at the hotel. You cannot work it out to come back to the hotel during the day without then driving your own car or paying for a cab or something.

The hotel is nice, though to me, the room smells like hair spray or something. We think it is the carpet cleaner. The fridge is a mini, as is the micro and the dishwasher. Our remote is fine, keys worked, and we were treated well when we walked in. Parking is okay, but be sure to get to your hotel before everyone else to get a 'good' spot.

Our 4-day hopper was upgraded to a 5-day for free, which would be nice if we were staying 5 days. Since we're not, it will go wasted... Nice gesture though.

So far, after part of 1 day, we are happy with our deal...

Just an update on WDWPackages-
This company was purchased by Affordable Travel of Orlando, a BBB A+ rated company. The rates are still amazing and there are no timeshares. You can feel safe shopping there as your vacations are guaranteed. They are also updating their website in the next month or so!
