No she did not. Five girls made it to the phone interview and there were only 3 spots. Keli is not a talker so it did not surprise me she did not do well. Plus one of the questions must have been about "What would you not like about MIHS? and she replied she would miss her family. Not the best answer since she would be away for the week. Oh well. She was told though that the two girls who were not chosen would be first on the list for next year provided they did not do anything wrong in the next year, so she is hopeful for next year.

Bummer. I have 4 going from my troop! Michelle and Kaitlyn are on year 3 and Alison was grandfathered in for the one spot available from a senior that graduated in our service unit since she had originally been part of MIHS from the Traverse City council. Kendra applied again (her 2nd year doing so) and originally was told no. But then Char got a phone call saying she was first alternate and then a second call saying one girl had decided not to go so was Kendra still interested? Naturally! So Kelli may still have a chance if one or two of those girls decide not to go. They have until 12/10 to get the acceptance paperwork back in. Speaking of which I must do that this weekend!
