How do you handle WDW withdrawals. My hubby and I went in November, but it seems like it was forever ago! I missed WDW, but I don't know if we will ever get back. We just bought a house, so large vacations are not happening any time soon! Any ideas how to beat the WDW blues? I miss the park and everything about it so much! I'll take any ideas you can come up with!!!!

I try to find tv shows about WDW. Last night on the History Channel, there was a show called "Modern Marvels" and this episode was about Disney!
The Travel Channel has a few different shows, including Samantha Brown and Disney Weddings..And of course, spend hours on here! :rotfl:

My biggest cure for "no idea when we'll be back at Disney" is this site right here. We love WDW so much that while we're in the middle of the magic, we say "we ARE coming back someday" but real life usually makes that someday years down the line.

In the meantime, I come here. I read trip reports and stay up on news of the latest refurbs and new rides being planned to see what will be our new "must-sees" when we go back. I offer advice to people with questions who are planning their upcoming trip, and try not to be jealous of them. :) I read and absorb the little bits of Disney trivia that I share with my husband while we're down there, just to hear his response of "whoa, really? cool!"

Oh, and I borrowed Kingdom Keepers from the library and read it, even though it's a kid's book.:rotfl:

My mom and I went on a land/sea back in November..and since summer started I've been itching to go back! But summer quarter beckoned ...

Oh, and I borrowed Kingdom Keepers from the library and read it, even though it's a kid's book.:rotfl:

Oh, I've read the first and second books and am anxiously waiting for the third!!!:rotfl: I work at an elementary school in the library!

Great ideas, but going again isn't an option for us! Oh well. I'll just play with my photos, and listen to music. Maybe I'll give myself a Disney Saturday where I watch Disney Movies all day long and play on the DIS, etc. Maybe I'll plan a trip that I won't take! Let's see what else I can come up with. . . ;)

Thanks everyone- any more ideas would be great!!!!!

I decided to finish my trip report. It is doing wonders (along with reading other reports) to make me feel better! My report is here!

I hope you'll come and enjoy it!

Even though money is tight with the new house and all, you could decorate a box or jar with some of your favorite Disney things. Put a title on it, every little bit counts, countdown to Disney, anything that motivates you. Then put in what you can even if it's a dollar. Think ahead if you stop for lunch or impulse buys then stop yourself and put that money into your Disney fund. You would be amazed at how quickly it adds up. And you will be thinking Disney more than you know. I've been doing this since July and have saved several hundred dollars. Good luck :yay:

we send off for the trip planner DVD every year, and go to travel shops for brochures. once i even went into a travel shop and got them to quote me my dream Disney vacation:sad2: That happened four years ago, and im glad to say we finally booked it a few months ago 12 nights BC + DDP, 4 nights RPR CL.:cheer2::cheer2:
