I don't have anything in the special effects category. Just some photoshop-ing.

beginning with raw file from Canon Xt and 28-135 IS
Aperture: f/4.0 ISO: 1600 Exposure Time: 1/13
on my toes holding camera as high as possible...

then ...
RAW to JPEG conversion including brightness and saturation
rotated counter clockwise so main spire points up (I've never taken a level pic)
perspective correction so outside spires do not point inward too much
then a crop
more brightness to lighten up the top spire
clone away about 10 remaining heads
(including one between walt and mickey and another over walts right leg)
then touch up both their lower sections
Duplicate background layer and run heavy unsharp mask
set that layer opacity to about 50%
save file
add plain black frame and save full size
then another size for web
post on my favorite forum and hope for comments.

Very, very cool! What did you do for that effect (unless you'll have to kill me once you tell me!!! ;) ) I'm assuming it's some sort of etching/lithograph filter?
It's stunning! :thumbsup2

You are funny Marge! We will make them count for both of us, and I won't repost them all! All of this editing/special effecting is great. I guess I need to get myself off the laptop and to the computer that I have the software to do this stuff on!!!!

Here is my quick attempt, nothing special, but i think it looks quite interesting, Sort of a dream effect.
