ASMu? I had a choice... park tix or on property... so I'm off property. I already looked in the parks once & couldn't go in... no way I'm doing that again. That was cruel and unusual punishment.

Having an AP has its perks, I guess. Let's not forget that I'm going in the first place due to many personal reasons, and I know that I won't be going again for a long, long time (like for our WDWWDS meet in January 04, right?).
I will only talk to strangers in white leisure suits. And since it's been forecast to rain Friday and Saturday, I'll be the one in the yellow poncho, if anyone's interested.

You can never go wrong with anyone in polyester leisure suits but especially jumpsuits. Just stay away from open flame.

Tips for solo travellers to WDW?

1) Male CM's are VERY, VERY nice to *single* females - I rode BTMRR once like 5 times in a row without waiting in line again 'cause I was alone...

2) OT is 100% correct - use the single's rider line for Test Track

3) Go to Mickey's toontown, take a picture giving Mickey a kiss...(that will make anyone smile..)

4) If you get lonely - go to the Kona Cafe at the Poly and have their *chocolate erruption* cake (it can do wonders for the mind and spirit...lol)

5) Go and see La Nouba (cirque du soleil) - something's you can appreciate MUCH better when DH is NOT there...

6) Find the nearest internet connection and come visit the WDWWDS from there and rub it in that you are there and were not...

Most importantly don't talk to stangers - ESPECIALLY if it's OT in his white leisure suit!

I see it's supposed to rain this weekend too mrsa that stinks. I was going to make a quick trip to the MK myself Saturday. Looks like there will be lots of yellow people there.
Anyone want some chocolate? My supplier just replenished me with all kinds of Valentine's candy...reese's, kisses, Ghiradelli's...yummm

MrsA - Early entry morning's for this weekend are as follows:
Friday February 21 - Disney's Animal Kingdom
Saturday February 22 - Disney MGM Studios
Sunday February 23 - Magic Kingdom
...can I give you a word to the wise from a Disney travel agent? DO NOT - I repeat DO NOT attend the park that has has the early morning entry - contrary to popular belief - that will be the day the particular park is jam packed!!!

Thanks Madonna! Actually, my plan is to hit the EMH park at EMH opening time, scoot around for a few hours, then head to my main "park for the day" THEN head to my "park for the evening." I'm just trying to maximize actual park time to the best of my abilities. I'm pretty sure my legs will be rubber on Monday morning.

Jay, having gone in Dec I basically did whatever I felt like doing and it was nice not having to be anywhere at a specific time. That is one good benifit of going solo.

Tips for male solo travellers.....there's only this: bring your white leisure suit/white shoes/black silk shirt outfit and as many gold chains as you have. The chicks really dig it. Hairy chest is not required, but is a definite plus. (I have temporary faux chest hair if anyone wants to borrow it)

Now I have here a bottle of PoC '69 direct from the WDWWDS cellars that have been off limits since the mutiny attempt. (Strange, looks like some bottles were missing, despite the lockdown). But anyway, I'm cracking it open so we can all give AP a Bon Voyage toast for a great trip. Oh, and if you run into a jam just push the red button on your WDWWDS Kimmunicator and I'll dispatch either Kim, Jas or MK to come bail you out.

She dropped the mrs. title....but, yes, I will be on call, ready to be dispatched if I am needed for my fellow WDWWDS person of smaller stature. And OT, I will never give out the identity of my supplier, what, you think I'm crazy?

Jay: Gold chains are must as Ot said. You might want to pick yourself up a Mr. T starter set or two . I only had one chain on at 8trax and felt totally outgunned.
