Oh yeah...while I'm on a good rant...I might as well finish the attack of the hosts...
I know this will come as a shock...but in my opinion, the only good one is Simon...but not for being mean...Actually, he is the most honest one of them all (BTW LOVED the Vanilla Coke ad...) He tells it like it is...and the act of all of the contetents attacking him is wearing thin...get over it...I like the fact that he is no BS...if it's bad...he'll say it, and if they would listen to him, they would realize it...
Now I need to turn my rant towards the last judge Randy Jackson...
He is not as lame as Paula...who is just so fake...but he is trying to be hip so bad it hurts to watch...do you NEED to call EVERYONE dude, even the women? Get a new word!
Oh, I forgot he has one...but it is worse...the next time he calls someone "Dog" I am going to have him put to sleep...stop trying to prove you're hip...it only makes you lame!

Ryan Seacrest is SUPPOSED to be goofy. Be glad you didn't watch last season with that loser Brian Dunkleman.

I love Simon and agree with most of what he says. I don't like when the girls (cuz it is mostly the girls and not the guys) give him attitude. Paula is the cheerleader (remember she was a Laker Girl back in the day), she's there to make them feel good. Randy is well just Randy. I think he was being easier on them cuz this was the first week with a live audience. And what's wrong with Dog, Dude, etc.? That's the way he speaks. I guess you would have a problem with my "yeah right", "get out" and "no way", if you were to ever have a conversation with me. Also, I guess his speech has nothing to do with the record label he works for. Gee I am not so dumb as to think the judges have not been cast into roles.

As for the marine guy - I dont know, he's got a wife and kid - how *idolish* is that to female teenagers??? (who spend the most time and effort voting Im sure...)

Besides - Clay has that side also - works with handicapped kids - going to school for it, lost his father just last summer AND said it is more important to him that he touches handicapped kids then becomes the AI....awwwww...*and he's just so darn cute to!*

Seems to me that Higgs is officially hooked!
I definitely see the "roles" that the judges are playing, and coming from a performance background, the only critiques that will actually help the performers are coming from Simon. Paula is a dolt and needs to be smacked silly. Randy has his "dawgs" and his "dudes", but the bottom line is that he is powerful in the American music industry and knows his stuff. I think the contestants are overlooking all of that.
At least nobody (but the special guest last night) has said the phrase, "you made it your own." Last season, I thought I would have to scream if I heard that phrase one more time.
But enough about that... how's the water flowin'?

nah Jas - last season was different - NO ONE even came close to Kelly's voice...*symapthy votes* were not necessary...besides she was just the *girl next door* type that worked in the same manner anyhow...and Kudo's on the Brian Dunkleman - I actually think that Ryan is doing a GREAT job - he's very quick to respond to anything that happens or is said (keep in mind this IS live...)

OT - love the Clay pic!! And once again as much as I hate to do this - I gotta stick up for OT...I do like Julia's voice...but she is no Clay, Ruban etc...

BTW, Kimbo, how's this grab ya? No kidding, last night I had a dream that the whole bunch of us were hanging out in WDW together. I remember we were all sitting at a table arguing where to go next. Pretty realistic dream I think.
