General concensus among DISNEY FANS regarding WDW vacations during WAR:

"I'm going to WDW, and going on with my life!"

WAY TO GO DISNEY FANS!!! :sunny:

For those of us who will be (or want to be) at WDW, do you think there will be any visible signs of the war (heightened security, of course)? I guess what I mean is will hours be cut, attractions closed, a change in crowd patterns, etc.?

Hey, I just figured out how to manipulate the font stuff! Cool! :)

I would assume & hope that security will be even tighter. I think crowds may be a little lighter because some people may choose to cancel or may have to cancel a trip.

I hope that not many other things change. I love WDW just the way it is. :p

I think you will notice more "suits" walking around with their walkie talkies. Bag searches may be a bit more thorough, and depending on how the war is going, guests may be a bit more uptight.

The hours may start out being cut, and increase depending on crowds. You may notice some of the food kiosks being closed (but that happens in off season, anyway), but the Magic will still be there.

Basically, think of it as a self fulfilling prophecy... if you go with the attitude that you will have a great time, no matter what you will. However, if you go down there with a negative attitude, it will color everything... and you will cheat yourself out of a good time.
