WDW vs DL for Fastpasses?

I am wondering if it is my imagination, but I am hearing about getting 3 fastpasses at WDW and then IF there is more free, then you can add more. It has been many years since I have been to WDW but just got back from DL this weekend and I had at least 10 FP a day with Maxpass over Thanksgiving weekend. Wondering if I should change my expectations to get just 3 or who has gotten their 3 done in the morning and then added a bunch more? I am going late May/Memorial Day to WDW. Where is the list for single riders at WDW parks?

Single rider list is easy: expedition Everest, test track, rock 'n rollercoaster

I have no problem getting 12+ additional fastpass at MK. Fewer at other parks because there are fewer rides, but still at least 5 or so

You can get more than 3 at WDW. Just don't expect them all to be headliners like they are at DLR.

The nice thing about DW is that you don't have to go running all over the park to get your additional fast passes. You can just book them on your smartphone while you are doing something else. And you can even check for FP in other parks.

You can book on your phone at DL with the new MaxPass option, though it does have an additional cost.

With the new Maxpass at DL you can grab FPs on your phone for either park. You can even grab FP outside the park, as long as you have used your ticket to enter one of the parks that day. Downside is that it is an extra $10/ticket/day.

BrianL beat me to this info by a few seconds! :)

Having done both recently.
I don't think you'll have a problem getting similar quantities so long as with the florida properties you managed get your first three early in the day.
With California, you need to be watching for your new window to open up, which you can do while waiting in the attraction lines.

Yeah, but your info was more specific. I really don't know much about MaxPass other than it's general existence. I haven't been to DL since they started it though it sounds like it's worth getting.

We used it this past August and loved it!

Yes, I forgot about MaxPass, it's new since the last time I was at DL a year ago.
