wdw veteren views of DLP

Hi, everyone. Thanks so much for sharing your DL park with us. My DH and I both agreed that DLP beats WDW in these areas:
Space Mountain
IASW
BTM
PotC

We LOVED those rides! In fact, we started our day off with SM and rode it again 3 times at the end of the day. We also Loved, loved, loved the location of our hotel room. We stayed in the DLH and our room was just off the atrium so we walked out of our room across the atrium out the door and were in the park in about 20 steps. You can't beat that in any WDW hotel.

Our only disappointment: THe weather. BRRRRRRRRR! Anybody know why
Disney planned so many outside ques in an area with such a cold climate?

We still love our WDW the best for sheer size and variety (and of course, nostalgia) but we loved DLP.

Not so sure about this, unless Disney think we are a hardy lot

Glad you had a great time, we love WDW and DLP for very different reasons as well. I have to agree with you about DLH, you can't beat it.

Thank you for seeing these positive things about DLP. It certainly has some great versions of the rides, plus it is the most ornate and detailed "Magic Kingdom" built so far.

I don't actually mind it when it's just very cold, but it can spoil the trip when the weather is really bitter and/or wet!!

We still love our WDW the best for sheer size and variety (and of course, nostalgia) but we loved DLP.
