WDW "Vacation A Day" Contest!

What do you mean different browsers? We've been entering daily with our own email addresses, but the same browser on our phone.

I just re-read the rules as well because I was worried but it only states one entry per day per E-mail address. Nothing about different browsers or so many per household.. I think it's fine to have multiple people in one household as long as they have different emails.

Now that this contest is almost over, I think that some of us are re-thinking how we are entering. I have gone straight to the "enter" icon and didn't really notice the video on the page. After entering everyday, today I played the video for the first time...hopefully I didn't have to activate the video like the ESPN contest???

Definitely post what they tell you about that! I am interested in how they handle big families for these kinds of deals.

I can't imagine how you are being patient. I'd be so hyper and excited! I have sleep issues anyways so I'm pretty sure this kind of news would keep me up for weeks

What? I've entered almost every day. DH has too, but from the same home computer mostly. I will occasionally enter at work. I think we both probably used the same browser on most days. I didn't see anything about different browsers in the rules.

Oh I can just imagine!! My dream has always been the Poly so I dream of being 'gifted' two rooms but I know without any doubt that wouldn't happen. So, maybe they would give a discount on the second room?? Depending on that, maybe?? It's kind of a one-time chance to stay at a place like that so might be worth splurging for. Can't wait to hear what they say about your family. You have it even tougher than us since we can fit in the family suites and the FW cabins.

It's probably fine as there is no prompting to watch the video during the process of entering the contest...like there is for the ESPN one. Sorry to have made you a little nervous about it Good luck!

I got an email from Disney Destinations, and was really excited. It was a confirmation our MB's were shipping out for our trip next month

I came home to my apartment today and saw fedex left a note for someone..I walked over to it literally saying out loud in a desperate voice "please let it be for me," my kids looked at me like I was nuts. Of course not for me.

I have entered EVERY day! I have entered from work, from my phone, from home computer...morning, noon, & night. (Once a day, of course.) I know it's a long shot but I'm still wishing, hoping, praying I get that notification email/call/fed ex package!

I WON and keep saying that I need someone to pinch me! I got an e-mail today at 3:30pm central time then a phone call and then a follow up e-mail with my affidavit. I am so excited I can hardly stand it!!! We were already planning an April trip to POP. I guess we will see how this all works out and where we will be staying, did I just say I was excited!?! We are a family of 7 so I am a little nervous to see how it will be.
Anyway couldn't wait to tell you guys!!!! YEAH DISNEY!!!!!!

So excited!! We received an email last night from Ventura Associates saying we WON!!! I've been entering every day hoping to win a honeymoon trip and WE DID!!

To the other winners: Have they told you anything about the "black out dates" or the hotel choices yet? We're going to select WDW for our trip and it would be wonderful to stay at a nice resort (not that they aren't all nice, but ya know ) especially since this is our honeymoon. We're also only going as a couple (not the 4 people that are allowed) so I'm not sure how that will effect the package.
Any advice?

Okay so after waiting for FedEx to deliver the mystery package from Orlando, I pretty much destroyed the cardboard envelope in my excitement to open it... It was for DH from his work, which is based in a completely different part of Florida so I don't know why they sent it from Orlando, but DH then suddenly remembered that yes he WAS expecting a package via FedEx ... So it goes without saying I had to divorce him.

As if that wasn't enough faux excitement for one day, I just received an email from "Ventura Promo" with the subject "Re: Winner". I was literally running around my living room screaming! My family could barely understand me. It was the greatest 45 seconds of my life, barring the birth of my daughter of course. Then I opened the email to read this:

So I'm pretty certain this means Disney is now required by law to give me TWO trips, or free Lifetime annual passes for my whole family... I know I read that in the terms and conditions of this contest somewhere

Not sure if I read about the browsers in the rules or if it was in the small print on the entry page, but I read something to the effect that it was recommended that entrants use different browsers if multiple people are using the same computer. As we only have one computer at home, we have been using different browsers to each enter.

I'm not disputing that you read that somewhere, but I just looked again and didn't see it in the rules or the terms of service.
