I keep reading about rude, pushy entitled people at the parks in wdw... I have visited DLand at least 50 times and really never had a problem with others. I'm wondering what makes it different between both places?

Never had a problem with rude people at either place. Maybe thoughtless. Like when a huge group stop in the middle of the path to read a map or something blocking others from walking through. Also, WDW has huge groups of students from South America at certain times of the year that can make it difficult to get around but they're not rude. I just enjoy their excitement.

I noticed a new "tactic" during our recent trip to WDW that I considered rude.

My wife and I waited in line for almost 60 minutes to see "Spaceship Earth". There were 3 very young children in the line directly in front of us with no adults accompanying them. I thought it was odd that such young children would be left completely unattended (especially for nearly an hour) and kept wondering why no parents were with them. The answer finally came just before we entered the ride, when a whole group of about a dozen adults suddenly began cutting through the crowd of people waiting in line and joined the 3 children in front of us. It then became obvious the adults had used their young children as "place holders", while they enjoyed viewing other attractions instead of waiting for nearly an hour in line like the rest of us had. Brilliant tactical maneuver- but after investing nearly an hour of my time waiting in line, I felt none too pleased having 12 adults suddenly cut the line to stand directly in front of me!
