WDW Trippie day 10 - low day & swim idol!

DD woke up still in pain with her ear - the Dr had said we had to keep it completly dry, so she sat in the bath & cried her eyes out as i tried to gently wash her hair!
I felt so down - sad that our dream trip was not going to my carefully laid out plans & fantasy, angry that this had happened, upset for DD.....
luckily it didnt last..

We had an ADR at Marrekesh in world showcase at Epcot, but everyone didnt seem keen on the menu so we went back to Chef De France so mum & dad could try the french onion soup we had a set 3 course menu for $19 - the soup for starter, i had grilled ham & cheese sandwich with salad - this was huge - especially after the soup (there was a small choice for main courses) & creme caramel for dessert - not something i'd had before & couldnt make my mind up - i had expected it to be warm!
Mum & dad on the other hand who knew their creme caramels declared it was one of the best they'd tryed
Our server Sabastian was very friendly i think we knew his life story by the end of the meal, he kind of came over too friendly, especially when he was still stood chatting while we were trying to eat our food!!!
Still i'd sooner have an over friendly server than a miserable one!

We spent the whole day wandering around the world then went back to POP for a swim, DD could only sit on the steps in the water....so we made up a game...SWIM IDOL!
DD was the judge & DH, mum, dad & I had to do a kind of individual syncronised swim, It was hilarious, this poor man was swimming by just as dad went under water & jumped up into the air followed by a beautiful piroutte - arms in the air & all - this poor man who didnt know anything about ''swim idol'' gave him the funniest look!!! we just rolled around laughing - a classic moment

We headed over to MGM's (sorry hate the new name & can never remember it) for EMH's hoping to do Toy Story Mania the fast passes went out at 10pm they'd all gone by 10.20pm & it was a 90 min wait!! So watched beauty & the beast show instead!
Got back to the room just as the heavens opened!

Next....the kitchen sink!!!
& finally get on toy story mania....eventually... after another problem!!

DD was very good considering the pain she was in & the fact she couldnt do her fav thing - swim!!
We told her she could go in the pool when we checked in at Royal Pacific resort as here antibiotics would be finished by then...BUT of course we didnt know TS Fay was heading over & they shut the pool
BUT thats another day
