wed 6th August
Up early again for 8am breakfast at CP, we did this on our last trip & enjoyed it so much we wanted to go back (mum & dad came )
We enjoyed this just as much again
We walked up mainstreet with hardly anyone around & DH videoed DD, mum, dad & me skipping up the street

can you tell i'm glad to be 'home'??

The breakfast at CP is LOVELY - fresh omlettes, strawberries, pastries....yum
stayed at MK till about 2pm then went for a quick swim at pop ...and out again at 3.45pm!!! when i planned i thought yeah mornings in park afternoon in pool & back to park BUT the days seemed to fly & this didnt turn out as leisurly as planned!
anyway i'd made an ADR for Chef De France & mum & dad were supposed to come but dad had stomach ache....all that food that insists he doesnt eat
So DD, DH & I went alone, we arrived at the restaurant & Christophe greeted us - what a lovely friendly man
The restaurant felt busy & we were sat near the bar, we ordered just a main course then i remembered the reviews on the french onion soup so i RAN after the waitress to order that 1st (got a funny look but who cares!!??)
The soup was heavenly
& i'm so glad i tryed it & can now understand why it gets such great reviews
then i had the vegetable lasagne which was nice too - no dessert - too full!!
After the meal we headed over to Cantina San Angel to get a good seat for Illuminations, we sat there for about an hour but i had a frozen Margeriti to cool me down
Illuminations as good as ever (they are DH's fav)
Tomorrow a LIE in - well a bit
& MGM's (cant get my head around the new name!) & mamma Melrose & Fantasmic dinner package & mums reaction to her 1st viewing of Fantasmic
