We stayed at Disney's Grand Floridian resort on June 1st for 3 nights. Here are a few photos from our stay.

This is room 5444 in the Sago Cay building.

This was our view!

A closeup of Space Mountain and the MK monorail station.

This was the easiest way to get to the MK from the Grand Floridian ... Over by monorail and back by boat.

dw7.jpg

An infamous Florida afternoon thunderstorm as seen from our room.

dw8.jpg

It cleared up nicely after the storm ... look closely and you can see a rainbow between the Contemporary and Space Mountain.

Dusk at the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Dawn at the Magic Kingdom.

We could see the Electrical Water Pageant from our room at 10:00 PM.

It was our birthdays the week before, so Donald and Chip & Dale sent us some goodies.

Excellent photos! Your view was spectacular! All these years we've been to WDW and we've never seen the electrical water pagent but on our next trip we will see it! I can't stand those afternoon showers, we have them here in Mobile. You never know when they're gonna pop up.
Have a magical day!

wow - your pictures are excellent!

especially the night shots

what camera did you use, and how did you get the pictures of the electrical water pageant to come out so clear?! (which setting did you use?)

Love the photos, you had an increadble view!
I have also never seen the Electrical Water Pagent, but I have always wanted to. Maybe in October!

Also a belated Happy Birthday to both of you! What an excellent way to celebrate!

I second the request for camera details. I would pay good money to get shots that crystal clear!

Your photos showed us so much.......I loved the rainbow and all the views you had.......thanks so much for showing us.....and yes what kind of camera did you use....

Thanks for sharing your BEAUTIFUL pictures.

We're booked in a LV room in September and I requested Sago Cay, dormer room, MK view. Were you in a dormer room? On my honeymoon I was in room 5441 - a dormer room in Sago Cay with a view of the castle. Just wondering if you were near that room or maybe the floor below??

Thanks!

Beautiful pictures!!!! :goodvibes I would also love to know what camera you use!!!

Please post more pics!!!!! :rolleyes1

I have a Sony DSC-W digital camera and I used the automatic settings. I forget the exact number. Placing the camera on the balcony banister to steady the shots helped a lot.

Thanks! Yes, we had a dormer room. 5444 - Sago Cay, 4th floor. It was so awesome!

Thanks! You were three doors down from "our" room. I hope we get "your" room or another in that hallway in September. (5441 had a king bed and now that we have two kids, that really won't work for us!)

Again, I just have to tell you that I LOVE your pictures!
