I will set the stage like many of these reports do:
DD
(Emmy)-Turning four at WDW, princess crazy, and loves to talk non stop to anyone.
DS
(Tyler)-Age:2 and maybe one the cutest kid on the planet but as "stichest" as they come.
DW
(Carrie)-Complains about going every year but is planning our next trip while on our current trip. Keeps my Disney habit under control, which cause me to call her WB (Wet Blanket)
Me
(Brian)-My daughter says I am the funnest Dad in the world but she has no one to compare. I LOVVVE WDW and all things Disney.
Saturday Night-Leave for Macon, GA and Sunday at DD
We are a driving family. My wife hates to fly and sees it as a waste of money. (Her opinion changes). We have DD birthday party during the day and leave a 9:00pm, so the children will sleep and I can drive in peace-right. Emmy and Tyler deceide after a day of birthday party they want to watch moveis all night. When they fall asleep, for all of 3 hours they both cry in their sleep because they are uncomfortable and want out. We arrive outside of Nashville, my DD wakes up and says her tummy hurts. Her tummy always hurts because she knows it freaks out my wife, who has a vomit phobia. I on the other hand think she is faking and it will pass. We continue to drive and guess what....................DD vomits all over herself. We pull into a gas station get her clean up and change into the only other type of clothes she has......shorts and t-shirts. It is about 45 degrees, good planning parents. We start talking about finding a place to stay for the night and DD says no I feel much better now. So, off we drive to Macon, GA. DS are opens his eyes and has no clue his sister got sick. We arrive at the Residence Inn in Macon at 9:00am. We had requested early check in but I do not think this is what they mean. I walk into the hotel and give them our name. I wait for her to laugh and she does. "The earilest we can get you in would be 4:00pm." I can be in WDW by 4:00pm, hey wait I can be in WDW by 4:00pm. I cancel my room and use the hotel computer to find another. I love marriot's website. I surf their site and find a family suite at the Marriot behind the crossings for ten less then our suite in Macon. Mickey wants me in WDW early and I will listen. I take a two nap while DW drives and we arrive one dya earlier to the World then hope for. We check into our Family suite and the kids love it. Their room is a jungle theme. Two little beds, a TV and a table with two kids chairs for them to color at......It really is pretty awesome. King size bed for us, living room for playing games, what more could you want. We throw the stuff in the room and head to the pool. After a little swimming, over to Downtown for dinner at Earl of Sandwich. Earl of Sandwich is very good. I love my turkey club, DW had roast beef-too beefy for her, DD and DS split grilled cheese. We eat outside and plan our eveing. Kids want to go to toy store, parents to Christmas store. First to the toy store where DD buys a tink doll and DS can not decide so we head to the Christmas store. We see the ornaments we want to get this year and children want to leave so we will come back. DS finds a ball he has to have at WofD. Crowds are really starting to get to us so we head back to hotel with visions of Mickey in our head.
