Where can I find maps for what buses to take for which parks? I'm staing at BC.

I've been reading about people who mistake rides for the transit system (yikes). I don't want to be one of "those" people. I'm trying to get as familiar with my resort/parks maps as possible before I go.

Thanks!

When the buses pull up and LED lit sign on the front and side of the bus will clearly say its destination. The system is really fool proof. There is really no need for a map. The buses sign on the bus will say something like "Epcot" or "Downtown Disney." It would be nearly impossible to get on the wrong bus.

Not sure about a map of bus routes, but the disney bus stops, and busses are pretty well marked. They say DISNEY across the side. The park they are going to, is across the top of the front window, in glowing red letters, and on the side by the door.

At the parks there will be a huge line of overhangs, each one marked with the resort name. They can be seen when you come out of the gates, except for Epcot, where you will turn left, and walk a little bit. There are signs directing you.

At the hotel, when you check in, the CM will give you a resort map, with your room, and closest bus stop circled.

Not poking fun, but I think it would be prety hard to get on a public bus, by accident. You will be fine.

Hope this helps. Have fun

You might want to post on the Transportation board here on the DIS. They may be able to help you but it is pretty easy to get around WDW.

Since you are staying at the Beach Club transportation is really easy. You can walk to Epcot in about 5-10 minutes. You can walk to the Studios in maybe 25 minutes. You can also take the Friendship boats to these two parks. Nice ride but really slow. The boats travel from Epcot to the Studios stopping along the way at the Beach/Yacht clubs, Boardwalk, and Swan/Dolphin. You will always get to Epcot faster than the boat. Might be a toss up for the Studios if you can catch one right away.
For the MK and AK the buses are clearly marked.
I agree with the other posters, you will have no problems at all figuring out and using Disney transportation.

Beware of any maps or guides you end up finding on the internet. I found what appeared to be a good bus route guide but subsequently found that it was out of date. I would argue that finding out specific information about the Disney bus routing system is the single hardest part of planning a trip to WDW - it simply isn't available on the web. I think this is because they have changed the system quite a bit over the years.

I would recommend trying to familiarize yourself with the general layout of the overall complex and seeing what types of information is available when you get there. As the other posters suggest, the buses are clearly marked so it is difficult to make a big mistake. However, if there is something very specific you want to do that is a little out of the ordinary, call 407WDWINFO and ask them. I called them a while ago and asked them about the fastest bus route between two specific locations, and the CM got someone from the bus dispatch station on the phone to explain it to me.

Another suggestion is to have a look at the Unofficial Guide. I seem to recall that there is a section in the book about the bus system including estimated time ranges and whether transfers are necessary.
