WDW transportation

Ok, so I know I can get from my hotel (CSR) to just about anywhere in WDW using their transportation. But...how about going from one place to another (for example, AK to polynesian for the luau, or MK to Downtown Disney)?? Are there shuttles between these places, or would I have to go back to the hotel and go from there?

You can easily get from any park to any hotel. You just can't go between hotels.

So from AKL simply take the bus marked "Polynesian". Have a great time!

Buses run from Disney Resorts to the four theme parks, two water parks, and Downtown Disney. In addition, buses run from one theme park to another. (in the case of MK, park to park buses are at the TTC, while resort buses are at the MK itself)

Some important things to note:

There are NO Resort to Resort buses.
There are NO theme park buses from Downtown Disney
There are NO Downtown Disney buses from theme parks
There are NO resort buses at the TTC (except WL/FW)
Blizzard Beach has a Studios & Epcot bus, however, Typhoon does not.

To get from Resort to Resort, one must use a hub (theme park) as a transfer point. For CSR, Studios makes a good hub.

To get from theme park to DTD (or vice versa) use a resort as a transfer point.

Tyler, could we also use DTD as a hub for going resort to resort?

In a situation where I stayed at MK until closing and then took the resorts monorail to the Polynesian for dinner, the only way I could get back to the Yacht Club would be to go to DTD if the MK busses stopped running (don't they cease service after certain time period past closing???).

Only other thought would be to take the resorts monorail to the TTC and transfer to the Epcot monorail and then take the bus to YC or walk back to the YC or take the launch (this all assumes Epcot was open later than MK, which it normally is).

Right?

You could... but if there are other options, check them out first.
