I'm hoping someone will be kind enough to help me. We are going to WDW for our first time ever September 9th through the 15th. I made all of our ADR's based on where we would be for the day but didn't realize MK closes at 7:00 on the 14th. The problem is we have dinner reservations at 7:40 for the Concourse. I know we can catch the monorail over from MK to go to dinner but what is our option after dinner. We will be staying at the All Star music. The Halloween party is that night so will buses run late from MK, could we catch the monorail back over to MK and then a bus to our resort our what do we do? I was really looking forward to this reservation and don't want to have to cancel it.

Yes, if the Magic Kingdom is open for even a hard-ticketed event (except Grad Night), buses will run until after that event ends. You can monorail, walk, or possibly even ferry, back to MK and catch the bus to your resort.

Or you can take a bus from the Contemporary to Downtown Disney or any open park (hours vary, sometimes daily) and switch to the bus to your hotel.

If you take the monorail to Epcot (you'll have to switch over from the resort monorail to the Epcot monorail), you get off just at the entrance to Futureworld. All the busses to the other resorts are a short walk to your right.

I hate having to worry about transportation. I'm like you, lisawbh! I need to know I've got a quick way back to our resort. Nothing can ruin an entire day of magical memories faster than a long, hot, boring-wait, bus-transfering commute.

Couldnt she take the monorail from CR to the TTC and get off there and then get a bus from there to Allstars???

If not take the monrail from TTC to Epcot and then take a resort bus. You will be fine. Ask any of the CMs they will tell you the best way to get back.

Many guests wind up coming to CR bc of Chef Mcikey and CA Grill as well so there is always a need to get them back to their home resort.

We love Concourse Steakhouse! I will be sad to see it go!

If the Magic Kingdom is open late, the resort buses will operate too. There are no resort buses from the TTC. Take the All-Star bus from the MK after dinner.

Don;t worry Lisa, there is ALWAYS a way to get from one place to another in WDW!

If MNSSHP is running that night, then the resort busses will continue to run to MK until about an hour after the party ends. The party will still be in full swing by the time you get out of Concourse Steakhouse, so all you have to do is take the monorail back to MK, then catch your bus back to ASMU. Total travel time from Contemorary to ASMU could be as much as an hour, though, so be prepared - you will have to wait for the monorail, then ride it all the way around to MK, then walk to the MK bus stops, then wait for the ASMU bus to arrive.

But it's perfectly doable and you will not be stranded.

Enjoy Concourse Steakhouse!

It is only about a five minute walk from the Contemorary to the MK Bus Terminal.
