Is it necessary to book WDW tours, such as Keys to the Kingdom, a certain number of days in advance like the dining and specialty cruises? I want to book a couple for my May trip but haven't yet since they need to be paid in full up front. Has anyone ever been turned away? Thanks!

I'm sure it depends on which tour and the time of day. We did the Dolphin Encounter at Epcot and one couple was there at the wrong time and was turned away because our time slot was full.

Tours may be booked 1 year ahead. We did the Family Magic Tour in October and I booked it pretty early - maybe in April? In August we are doing Mickey's Magical Milestones and I booked it in early December. I have heard the Segway tours fill up fast, not sure about the others. Good luck!

Dh and I did the Keys to the Kingdom tour last September. I didn't book it 90 days in advance, it was closer than that, but not too much closer, maybe 60-75 days, and I had my choice of times, and this was for a Saturday. It was value season though, that could have something to do with it. The tour was fantastic, definitely the highlight of our trip, so I hope you can get in to do it!
