WDW to US/IOA

Spending 7 nights in WDW but want to go to US/IOA 2 days. What transportation should we use? 2 adults, 1 child

If you are staying at a WDW (Deluxe for sure) hotel, call guest services (might be good to call 24 hours in advance) and they will arrange a taxi to pick you up at a certain time-even if you are going to US/IOA

Does anyone know approximately how much it would cost from Port Orleans to Universal? We're doing a quickie, adults only trip in Dec and quotes I'm getting from car rentals are $100 and up for 3 days. Thought we might take Mears from airport, buses on property, and boat to Downtown Disney, but IOA would require planning. Will Mears pickup at Port Orleans or is a taxi our only option?
