WDW to Universal

We (a family of four) will be staying at a moderate (to be determined) during our next trip. What are our options and the associated costs for getting to (and back from) Universal?

You might be able to find a cheap 1 day rental .

We had a $18 for a full size per weekend day during our Oct trip.

You really only need a compact or ecom. to get you back and forth.

There are Mears Taxi cabs on the stand at all the Disney resorts. You can also pick up a cab back to WDW whenever you are ready to head back from Universal. I would say that is about the most convenient way back and forth. It would cost about $25.00 each way, depending on the resort you are staying at. It is a little pricier, but it is directly to and from your resort at the exact times you want to be transported.

We had four in our group and hired a towncar service to get us to Universal. I think it was about $60 r/t, not including tip. They pick you up at the prearranged time, drop you off right at the entry stairway to Universal, and the are there, waiting, at the designated return time. It worked quite well for us.
