WDW to MCO?

I currently have a rental car booked for my December offsite trip. Yesterday I got a call from family I'm traveling with and they said that I didn't need a rental car because they were bringing a minivan. The only problem is that we need to be out of our townhome by 10:30am, and my flight doesn't leave until 8pm on Dec 23rd. While the minivan will hold us all, it won't hold all of us plus all of our baggage.

I could get a one-way rental from one of the WDW pick-up locations to MCO, but I'd need to pick it up on Sunday morning and drop it off Sunday evening because the onsite pick-up locations aren't open late enough on Saturday night for it to be a one-day rental if I get it on Saturday.

I could take a taxi to the airport, but then where would I store my bags for the day?

I thought about getting a room at a value to take ME to the airport, but the night of the 22nd is holiday season, and that costs almost as much as renting a car just for a week. Hrm, if I stayed overnight on the 23rd and left the 24th that would cost only slightly more than a one-day car rental, but it says "no ground transportation" - does that mean no ME?

Where does it say "no ground transportation"?

Normally everybody's returns to the airport are plugged into the schedule the day before, so if you check in that evening for a one night stay, some behind the scenes complications do occur. But I never heard of no Magical Express for one night stays.

Just after y ou make your Disney's resort reservation you would make the Magical Express reservation. One way, either way, if you desire.

Ah, I see now that they've changed the online reservation tool since I used it last. I can set it up to use ME back to the airport on the 24th. Now I just have to decide if I want an extra day with just DD after the grandparents head home.
