We will be staying on-site without a vehicle.
Considering taking in an Orlando Magic game.
Any suggestions for best transportation options and possible costs would be greatly appreciated! :)

Taxi, Mears has a fare calculator on their site.

It might be cheaper to rent a car for one day from one of the on site locations such as the Dolphin. Round trip cab fare could be more than $100, its about a 20 mile trip each way.

While you are probably correct, parking during a Magic game is not all that easy. The garage is usually sold out and for someone not familiar with Orlando, trying to find parking can be very daunting.

There is more than 1 garage.

Parking is available to purchase online, so you do not need to worry about it being "sold out"
(the online purchase option isn't available yet, but it should be when the season starts in a week or so.)

If it were me, I'd either plan to rent a car, or arrange for a town car. Getting a cab after an "event" can be a little bit painful, because there are too many passengers and not enough cabs.

You have to book your transfer in advance. If you decide to get a cab the day of the game it will be way more expensive. Try Star Trans company - orlandotransportation-shuttle.com
Possible cost...hmmm... $60-65 each way (not sure)

There are a bunch of parking garages EAST of I-4 in the downtown core, all charging $10 for games. Then it's a short walk to the Amway Center which is immediately WEST of I-4 at Church Street. Renting a car for one 24-hour period is far cheaper than all other options.

there are cabs all over after a game.Just be careful to only get into a licensed cab, not a gypsy. Fare should be around $60 each way.
