Thanks everyone! Jack seems to be doing much better. He hasn't eaten much but stopped vomiting around when I wrote the last update. Thank goodness we're still in a one-bedroom so we have a washer/dryer; we're moving to a studio tomorrow.
The Jack story... Initially, we were about the do the Waste Management game in Innoventions, which Jack likes (you get to push around big trucks), and right as the WM guy was finishing his pre-game spiel, Jack yacked all over the place. He seemed better and after some quiet time (and was trying to say "sorry" to the folks working at that game!), decided to give Spaceship Earth a whack. Again, right as we were about to step onto the load platform, another big vomit. We got out of there and he had a few small ones (not much left in his tummy!) over the next couple hours, so we decided to call it a day. The problem was that we had reservations at Tutto Italia. We canceled those and eventually I was able to go to Olivia's (at Old Key West, where we're staying), sit down and eat dinner by myself, and get everything else to go.
I got my stuff ready to head out to Illuminations, had my tripod and camera bag, got onto an Epcot bus that showed up almost immediately, then went to put the quick-release plate onto the camera... and realized I left it at our room!

Fortunately we'd just gotten as far as getting turned around and the driver let me off. I made it there by just after 8 and was able to get a pretty darn good spot near the Future World entrance.
I've said it before... but I
love Illuminations. Last time I saw it (last trip), I was distracted by some technical issues. No such problems this time and I really had a blast watching the show. I enjoy it much more than Wishes and virtually as much as Fantasmic. (This trip, I enjoyed it more, after being stuck in the SRO section!) I also managed to take more shots during that short trip than the rest of the day combined. As you can guess, it was not a great day for picture-taking!
Lightroom is exporting photos now, I'll probably have a few soon.
My favorite shots are the one with the train from EE going down the hill in the background and the one of that weird statue asian looking statue head (I'm guessing around EE since those are the pics it's grouped in with).
Yup, that is in the Everest gift shop (which is full of cool stuff!)
Groucho......Enjoying your night shots as well as the fish eye shots! Thanks for taking the time out of your trip to share them. I know every trip we take, I'm so wiped out and in need of sleep, there's no way I could find the time to upload pics to my site and then post something each night/morning. Good job.
Well, I have to get those memory cards unloaded and I'm anxious to at least get a quick glance at my shots each day. Uploading them doesn't take too long and posting the pics doesn't take too long... updates like this one take a little longer but it's fun getting the instant feedback!
