I know that WDW tickets can be used at DLR, but will they take the plastic ones or paper ones or either one. Also, where do you go to get the tickets exchanged...ticket booth or turnstile? Thanks in advance.:thumbsup2

Will they only take Magic Your Way tickets or is an WDW Annual Pass good at DL?

Guest Relations or the ticket booths should be able to help you with this. Someone on another thread had luck with just going to the turnstiles, but I wouldn't want to wait in the line just to be sent to GR... Or make the people behind me wait for them to run to GR and check on the ticket.

The annual passes do not work interchangably between WDW & DL. WDW annual passes are only good for the WDWR and DL AP are only good for the DLR. The Magic Your Way tickets (as long as they aren't expired) or the old non-expiring WDW park hopper tickets can be exchanged for DL passes.

I called DL few months ago, was told they only would accept a trade on the Magic Your Way Park Hoppers.

If partially used, must be either within the original expiration period or non-expiration option

The big issue for us was the fact that you have to stand in line each and every day you want to convert the tix.

It was explained that they have to call WDW to verify (as the computers don't talk to each other;) ) and remove a day from the tix

When i priced it out there wasn't much of a cost savings for us anyway for a 4 or 5 day stay

Guest relations and the tickets booths cannot help with this. The only way to use a WDW ticket is to just take it to the entry turnstiles, where they will push a button to call over another CM who will take your ticket and remove a day from it, and then bring it back to you. This will take a few minutes, and you'll just wait over to the side. When they return, they'll give you a ticket to use as your ticket for the day in fastpass machines.

if you use your WDW parkhopper pass will you be eligible for EE at DLR??

If you're staying at one of the Disney hotels, then yes you would because you qualify for EE no matter what type of ticket you're using. Otherwise, no.

We just did this a few days ago with unused days on a non-expiring MYW Park Hopper. It is really no bother for the people behind you. The CM at the turnstile just has you stand to the side and lets others go through while you wait for a Lead to check your tickets. The process takes less than 5 minutes, but you need to do it each day. If you arrive at the gate prior to opening, you can still get through the turnstile before the rope drop. I thought it would be a hassle, but it was no big deal and a great way for us to use some of our unused days.
