WDW Teddy Bear?

When we were in Disney in Dec, my DD saw a Teddy Bear. It was a "disney" bear... can't really explain it too much more than that. It had a special story to go with it. Since the kids all had to spend their own money, she loved it, but didn't want to spend that much on it. Does anyone know what this is called?? I tried calling WDW merchandising this morning and they need more information. I can't pump my DD for information. I hope to find it for her for her birthday.

I have one right in front of me! The tag says "Disney Bear" and it has the little storybook attached. So cute! I bought it for DD. (Really, I did... So she's 23. Yeah--it's for her.)
I think it was $25.

It has Mickey heads on the back paws and on the left "cheek" by the tail. Also, the face has fur in the shape of Mickey. I bought it at the new toy store at DTD.

It is the Disney Bear, and is $25 at Ounce upon a Toy at DD.
We have 3 shades of brown, lavender,grey, white and mint green at this time. We Will be getting in Dark Blue and black in the fall also a Xmas one and a my first disney bear with a costume and bib that can be personalised.

Ooooooooh! What to do, what to do!?!?!?! WDW Monopoly game or lavendar Disney bear?!?!?!?!?! Which to buy for a souvenier?!?!?!?! Monopoly, bear? Monopoly, bear? I think it will have to be a lavendar bear!

Just at Downtown Disney and the Outlet malls today and can report back that they have the sitting Disney bear (did not see any laying bears) in many colors at the OUaT store for full price. If you want a Disney bear at a good price (I think it was $6.99 or $8.99 but don't hold me to it!!) they have them at the Character Premiere outlet at the Orlando Premium Outlet mall. They only had the laying down version and they had it in a grey and a brownish/orange color.

If only I could convince my DH that we NEED to drive down to pick up on for my DD!! I called Disney merchandising. Since her birthday is in 2 weeks, the only was they can guarantee delivery is by FedEx....for an additional $20.95!! Well....my other daughter has a Sept birthday!

I have one too...they are adorable and soooo soft. Mine is white and named Walter. My daughter (12) saved up her money and bought him for me. Don't you just love when kids do things like that? Makes you feel like you're actually doing something right!
