I think we are going to be heading to the world in August, and I am just wondering what ya'll wear in that kind of heat?
I spend most of my summer days in capris here in WNY, so I'm thinking either shorts or skorts?
And where would be the best place to buy those items? I'm at a loss......I was in Target today and saw a few "workout" skorts in that funky sweat wicking fabric, but when I held a pair up, they seem very short. KWIM???
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas / suggestions...........

Seroiusly the less material and the lighter it is the better. If you have never been to the south before it is going to be like being under a wet blanket for you, especially in August. Lots of people underestimate it. It is not so mch the heat as the humidity. You will be drenched with sweat continually as long as you are outdoors. You do not want to be ocverd in lots of sticky fabric. Shorts and tanks will probably work best. Take plenty of water to the parks and stay hydrated.
