The only way it possibly returns is with an up charge. WDW hasn’t really brought back any of the complementary services it eliminated during Covid.

well thats amazing for someone like me who likes to buy a lot of things but also has to fly back to california and worry about luggage weight

At Epcot festival of the arts they told me they wont send back to room but they will ship to home from the festival for a fee thats calculated based on the price of the item purchased. They were arranging shipping directly from Epcot at one of the booths so no need to bring it back to hotel.

Was it directly to your room, or was it to bell service/front desk where you had to pick it up? I never used that particular service so i don't know. We have used the "mail it home" option, especially when we were Christmas shopping for our kids who were with us.

In the hotels we stayed at they sent the items to the gift shop for pickup the next afternoon

My question was geared for a "Light Saber" we will make early in the morning at HS. Trying to figure out a way to not have to lug it around all day. We are DVC and staying at Copper Creek. Any additional thoughts on that ?

You could ask if they will hold it until you are ready to head back to the resort.

Another option to check out would be the lockers at the front of the park. Not sure if the light saber would fit though.
