WDW Space Mountain Closing for Renovation

I just wanted to give a heads up for anyone taking a trip or getting married from late April through late in the year. Disney announced they are closing Space Mountain for renovations during this time. Personally, Space Mountain is one of my favorite rides at the MK so I just wanted to let you guys know so you're not let down when you get to the park!

Thanks Jen for the info ! However, this is making me very sad as I wanted to ride it as a married woman. One of my favorite WDW memories is riding it 25 times on my 25th birthday (thanks to some helpful and fun CMs!). Bah. But if that's my biggest problem during my wedding/d-moon, I think I'm doing pretty well!

OMG! That is so awesome! I'm going to the park on Jan. 20 for my 25th birthday and you have given me a great idea for a birthday request!
