WDW Sold Out in early April?

I'm trying to help someone find a room at WDW - they were going to go to Disneyland - but just now decided to try to go from 4/4 - 4/11. No matter what - I can't find a room through DisneyWorld.com, and I was wondering if anyone knew if they were all full during that time?

A mother and a 9 year old daughter - preferably in a value

I first tried booking with the buy 4, get 3, but that was not available. Then I tried to book anything and it was not available.

Would it be best to call, or to go through a TA (Dreams, perhaps?)

I do believe that early is going to be all booked up. That is spring break week for a lot of school systems, as well as the week before Easter. You can try calling and talking with an agent 407-W-DISNEY maybe they can find something that's not popping up on the website. Good Luck!

I booked a very last minute trip this past February and could not get a room for our last night through Disney. I did however get one through Expedia so you may want to give them a try. Good Luck!

keep checking the site also.
i have been checking to change our resort/view several times a day. we are going those same dates. sometimes something pops up under the 4/3 deal, sometimes there is no availability. that changes multiple times a day.

I was playing earlier today online with the dates 4/5-4/12 and the only thing I could get to come up was Beach Club (full price) Garden view, and Dolphin or Swan. I just tried again for your dates, and could only come up with the Poly garden view, weird thing was that it came up when I looked at other resorts, it's at the end of the pulldown list, the same place the Swan and Dolphin came up last time.
I would keep trying if she can, and also try calling.

That is what i've been stalking the website for...
It isn't there now...only WL, and only full price. There is no place in WDW I'd stay for rack rate!

Thisngs sure have changed. I booked the Poly for 4/7- 4/14 10 days ago and got the 4/3 deal. The YC, BC and CR were all still available on the 4/3 deal as well. Just keep trying!

I know this sounds crazy, but 2 years ago we decided to go at the last minute during spring break. We stayed at the GF for 5 nights and the CR for 2 nights. We had to make a seperate ressie for every night and it worked. Disney worked with us and didn't make us move to a different room every night. Yes you will have to pay rack rate this late. Our family had a great time that year and one thing we enjoyed was changing where we stayed. There is 5 of us, but it was no problem. We are also going 4-3-2009 to 4-10-2009 and we have 2 rooms at POP and we are getting 2 gift cards for $$$500 each room. That's our food and spending money. To us that was a very good deal for spring break. Let me know if this info helped.
