WDW Restaurant Food Report

Sam,

Thank you for the great in-depth reviews, I felt like I was eating with you. Unlike others who posted I did not feel hungry after reading your posts, I felt full, LOL.

We came back to WDW for just one more night. We had checked in early so decided to spend the day milling about at EPCOT. We chose to have lunch at Chefs De France as Nine Dragons no longer serve the Taste of China but more a scaled down set lunch for two, we were disappointed but went on to France. We shared a flat bread of pancetta and crème fraiche and then I had the Quiche and Paul the Croque Monsieur. I wished I’d also had the Croque Monsieur it was delicious and I didn’t like my Quiche that much, not that there was anything wrong with it, it’s just mine tastes better ;)
Was the croque monsieur the traditional French version or did they Americanize it into a ham and cheese sandwich? I am hoping that it is the French version, as my son and I have been craving this since our summer vacation last August in London and Paris! I swear I could have lived on those, along with a nice green salad!

Wonderful reports, thank you so much for sharing!

Wow, I love reading your reviews. I agree with the wrap at Pecos Bills, I did not like it either. Thanks for posting.

Mmm that's a hard one. It's not how I remember a Croque from Paris or London, which normally has the feel of a cheese and ham melt i.e. melted cheese on the outside, would you agree that to be the traditional French version?. In Chefs it's more a ham, cheese and tomatoe sandwich that's been deep or pan fried but it was very nice all the same. It is also served with a nice green salad.

This was a great review;) I was starting to second guess some of my PS but after your review I'm not going to change a thing. Thanks again. :p

I finally got to finish reading the rest of your reviews. I loved reading them. You gave so much detail. I felt like I was there. Thanks again for posting.

Thank you for the reply concerning the croque! I am with you in agreement that the cheese should be on the outside, not the inside! Once again, thank you for your great reviews!
