Recently when we have booked with Virgin to go to WDW we have contacted WDW to get the reservation number from them prior to making ADRs. I have emailed them as usual this time so that I can use the online system when the time comes but they tell me they are no longer able to issue the WDW reservation number. Virgin don't know what I'm on about :(

Not the end of the world if I have to go through the old phone call and use my phone number for the reservations but I would prefer to go online and sort it out. Presumably my other option is to book each day at 180 days out rather than using the 180+10

Anyone come across this more recently than last year?

Phone back and speak to someone else. ;) Someone on here just got their by a phone call to VH a couple of weeks back.

I booked through Disney UK and emailed the US guest services via the 'contact us' link on the US Disney site to get my 12 digit reservation number giving them my dates, resort and UK booking ref.

Not sure if you can do the same if you booked through Virgin though - no harm in trying :)

If you ring Disney Dining, they will give you your number if you tell them name, dates, etc. We did this last time.

if you ring the uk number for virgin then they will give you the number, i did that a few weeks ago

thanks for all your replies glad it is still possible, was beginning to doubt myself with both WDW and virgin saying no.

Sometimes you have to perservere a little bit with the TA. In 2009 I asked for my US reservation no. when I made the booking and got it immediately (Disney UK)

Last year I was told they don't have it. I emailed as above and got a response that it would not be released to me until August :mad:

I phoned them and the lady I spoke to gave me my 12 digit AND alphanumrerical numbers on the spot.

Whoever you book with, it depends who you speak to. The answer is yes, you can have it, but you have to get to someone who knows this.

Have you got the UK number for Virgin? I have never done an ADR online before...have always phoned....however i am away when we can book our ADR's and have left instructions on how to do it for dd....when do they ask for any reservation number? I have only "practised" on the system!!

They ask for the reservation number when you are trying to book more than 180 days out. If you try and book today for April for example, it won't ask for your reservation number as anyone, regardless of where they stay, can do this online. However when you get to 190 days out you, as an onsite guest, may book your ADRs for the first 10 days and when you select your date between 180 and 190 days out from the date at the time, the system will ask for your ressie no. to authenticate your Disney hotel booking. Hope that makes sense.

I emailed Virgin last week and received my number 2 days later, I simply asked for a 12 digit Disney number to enable me to make dining reservations :)

I have my booking form and that to hand.
Just went on the website to the 'contact us' section but can only find numbers not an email address.
Does anyone have the email address please?

You need to go on the US site. I think that the contact us section is at the bottom right hand side. There's a form for you to fill in and send. Someone will contact you with your res. no.

Thanks for this information.
I did this and they send me a 8 digit number back? I am even more confused now!
