Well, just got unpacked and returned to work on Tuesday. Yes, the Magic is over until my next trip. It was a great time for my DW and me as always.
We actually flew out of Phx on Sunday night 2/10 and arrived in Orlando at 4:45am Monday morning. Our first question was would the magical express actually be there that early? Of course it was, we were the only two on the bus and it went directly to our resort:woohoo: .
We opted to do the yellow bag tags and just left them at the airport. So when we arrived at POP we checked in. Our room would not be available until later, but we were ready for that and had planned to go straight to breakfast and early morning magic hours anyway.
We had breakfast reservations at the Boma in AKL resort for right as they opened. The food was fantastic and I highly recommend it. Then after breakfast we were off to AK! This was going to be exciting because last time we were in WDW, Everest was about 3 weeks from opening and we couldn’t wait to try it. Everest did not disappoint. It was really fun, and my DW usually hates thrill rides, but she couldn’t wait to ride again. So thanks to the magic of magic hours, we rode it three times in a row with about a 5 min wait each.
After about 1/2 a day AK, we were ready to hit the hotel for naps. After all, we had just been on a plane all night and going since 4:45am. We went to our room at PC and slept for three hours...AHHHH that felt great.
When we woke up we headed to Epcot for some evening fun and to catch Illuminations (A WDW must!!!) We had a quick table service dinner that evening in China. After we cruised the world showcase for a prime spot. If you have never seen Illuminations, what are you thinking?!? It's fantastic, check it out!
The next day was DHS. We had lunch reservations at one of my fav dining spots the Sci-Fi drive in. We were hitchhikers this time and knew we had been there long enough when we were half way through all the movie clips for a second time.
Of course that evening was Fantasmic, and also extra magic hours. So we were able to catch 2 showings of Fantasmic, one was for extra magic guests only. After Fantasmic #2 it was a Tower of Terror/Rockin' Rollercoaster marathon.
Weds and Thurs was a mix of parks. Most of the days were spent at the MK. We were able to catch wishes on Weds evening. After Wishes he hopped on a boat and headed to FW for the Hoop Dee do review. This was a first for us. We saw the review on the Travel channel and thought it looked like fun. It sure was. The food was great, and the comedy and singing was hilarious.
The next day we were at the MK again. Our dinner rsv was at Tony's Time Square. (What a cute place for a nice Valentines Day dinner) The MK closed early that evening for the Pirate & Princess party, so we headed to Downtown Disney for some adult fun and shopping.
While at DTD we signed up to take the DVC tour. We set this up for Fri morn and toured the new AKVs. Very nice and something to consider, but not now, we were on vacation. The DVC van took us to Typhoon Lagoon for the day. It seems like the week had flown by, but here we were, Sat and the final day at the parks. We hit up DHS again. We had some lunch reservations at the Prime-Time 50s diner. We had a very relaxing day at the park. We took in the shows, parade, and some rides.
As always, Disney Magic ruled and the week was fatasmic. Flew back to Phx on Sunday, signed up for DVC on Monday  . What a trip :surfweb:

AWESOME!!!! I love how you got there so early in the morning and jumped right into the fun!!! AND MAJOR CONGRATS ON YOUR DVC PURCHASE!!!
