WDW ponchos- color?

What color are the ponchos in WDW?

Most are clear with Mickey on the back. Not a true clear, but a semi-opaque.

Used to be. Now they are clear.

The adult's are clear & the kid's are yellow. There may be different choices, but that's what we got when we were there in February.

I just went to WDW two weeks ago and the day it rained in MGM the kids and adult ponchos were both clear with Mickey on the back.

Anyone know if there are ponchos with any other characters besides Mickey? I've always only seen Mickey, but was just wondering.

Bought one recently for myself and a child's one. Both were clear.

Can anyone tell em how much they cost in Disney? Are they the same cost in each park?

They are only Mickey. If you go to the stores right around WDW (offsite) you can get other characters in different colors. These also say Florida underneath the picture so they are a little different than the actual park version - these are much cheaper too.

I bought mine in September and they were $7. Don't know if they raised the prices since then.

I think they do sell them everywhere (well, not merchandise carts), but they're not out in the open. You have to ask for them.

They were still $7 as of two weeks ago. We did see them at Wal-Mart on our trip in 2006 and those were about 1/2 the price of WDW ponchos. I'm not sure but I have heard if you rip your WDW poncho they will replace it.

Was just there last week and both the child and adult ponchos are clear w/ Mickey on the back. They were $7. We were at MGM that day and I believe the Planet Hollywood store had some yellow ones for a little less - maybe $5? We just bought the Mickey ones. WDW made a killing on ponchos that day!!!!!

I was in WDW last week (March 7 to 12) and it poured all day on Wednesday, March 9th and all the stores had by the cash register the clear ponchos with Mickey on back. There were many people who bought them (myself included but did not use yet). There is one size for adults and one size for kids.

Now that I'm back at work and swamped I need another WDW vacation.

Thanks for the help. I plan on buying some at the Dollar Tree before we leave and I didnt want the same color as WDW.
