Others are posting on Dizpins that WDW CMs are not accepting pins in trade that do not have the Pin Trading logo on the back of the pin.
As expected, the refusal is not consistent.
I know many here buy pins on Ebay specifically for CM park trading. I wanted to throw this word of cautrion out in case a policy change is taking place.
As with everything Disney -- subject to change without notice.
Another reason not to buy Spain or any even romotely questionable pin.

Occasionally I do have a park CM who does not want to trade a legit pin. If they won't accept it, another will. (Doesn't happen often. But it does happen.)

During my recent visit that was a problem. But I would point out that if it has the Disney copyright - on the back OR THE FRONT it was acceptable.

So while at the DVC member mixer, I asked Jim and Steve the pin guys if certain pins were tradeable that previous CM's would not trade, and they said that they were. And if I had any more problems, to refer the CM to them.

Thanks for the info!

Debbie

You have to realize some CM's are knowledgable about pin trading, some THINK they are, and (as with most) the rest simply don't have a clue and couldn't care less about it.
The inconsistency can be attributed to the lack of any education on pin trading whatsoever.
