So that's a story 1-friend removed.
The important thing is to follow the signs. They'll say "No video" or "No photography". Without the signs, don't worry about a thing. The can't "confiscate" a camera without warning. And even if they did, I'd bet the people get them back after the ride (I have yet to see a Disney "used" camera outlet on Ebay LOL).
