I think this question has been answered before, but can I exchange my 1 day park hopper for disneyworld into a 1 day disneyland park hopper?

We are headed back to CA for my friends wedding next week and have two extra days to kill.

Thanks! :cool1:

Yes you can, as long as it's not a Magic Your Way ticket that may have an expiration date.
Just go to the entrance gate and the ticket taker will hand to another CM who will verify you have a day left on it. It only takes maybe five minutes.

This is interesting. We have 3 days left on our WDW Magic Your Way parkhoppers - No expiration. Can we exchange them for a 3 day Disneyland/California Adventure ticket?

I thought you could, providing you did an even exchange, like 2 days for 2 days, not 3 days for 1 and keep 2. Who knows, but I will find out next weekend and report back.

Now the question is... where to stay. We have been only been to Disneyland and California Adventure once last year and stayed at the Hojo and it worked out great (this time it would be 107.10 with mousesavers discount). I will admit I am temtped to stay on property (it would be one night, but we could arrive right at 3 in hopes to hang out at the pool etc)

The best rates I can find are on expedia and they offer
Grand Californian for 209
Paradise Pier 179
disneyland hotel 205

Is it worth it. We will get a half a day there and then the following do as much as we can in the parks. At WDW we have stayed on property at WL and POR and loved both of them for different reasons.

Any suggestions?

Wow, that's great to know, this news will make my brief hop to Disneyland next week a lot cheaper!!

I bought a park hopper for DH at check in at GC and took my WDW park hopper ticket to the gate. I handed it to the CM and he handed it to someone else who put the info in a computer. You give them the actual ticket you use at WDW.

To my surprise, I had two days left on it, not one like I originally thought.

They gave me a ticket that was blue that I was to use (I guess the fast pass system needed to recognize their code). And it was all set! And I still have one WDW day left to use.

I hope this helps! Any other questions, just let me know.

I did the same thing last Wednesday. It took a couple minutes, but no big deal, and then I was in. They gave me that same blue ticket.
