Ok, hear me out on this..........I've payed attention to many Disney vendors in the Orlando area and have seen many of the items they have for sell and while not their fault, It upsets me at Disney.

One store owner has various ride vehicles from retired rides outside in the rain and weather to just sit until someone buys them......or not.

With Disney, many fans are very sentimental towards the place and items (moreso than many employees and management I think).

I think Disney should create a museum on the property somewhere and take things that are very sentimental and put them in the museum. This thing could be a huge building and they could put all of Walt's personal things in there (some of which are in One Man's Dream), and things from the history of the parks.

They could put ride vehicles from old rides in it, video of old rides that no longer exist, music from extinct rides, shows, original cartoon drawings, etc. There';s so much and it could be added to constantly.

I really think disney should stop dumping all of it's closed attraction things and keep more of them for display and I think a Disney museum is what many of us Disney finatics would love.

What a great idea! I would love to see something like this -- would bring back so many memories of all those attractions, shows and the like that are gone now!

They do have one....it's called the Backlot at MGM... :rolleyes1

You call the backlot a museum? I call it a wasteland. It's horrible. They put that stuff out there to rot. It's sad. The Florida sun and heat just destroys those things daily.

Look at them, the paint is faded out, they are rusting and in some areas they grass isnt even mowed around them. it's a joke and there simply because they want to give you "something" to look at on the way to the Canyon. They dont really care about the items laying there and it shows.

Why not take those items, build a massive museum and restore those items and put them in a museum in a "fake" setting from the movie to make it fit even better. There is so much that could be done. I love those types of things and hate to see some of them rotting in the backlot. Most of those are all movie props though, the ride cars and items from old rides are auctioned or sold off in most cases.

I agree!

I think it should be another Park! I would call it Walt's Kingdom or Nostalgic Kingdom.

The rides should function and have interactive exhibits and displays. I think it would be awesome and I would use a hopper day to visit.

They could put COP and Stitch there! :goodvibes
