WDW Marathon Weeknd: Anyone run with a charity organization?

We do the WDW Marathon Weekend annually with a charity group. We usually get the details of the resort group bookings, etc. in July. We are at the end of September and still have no information. The group says the delay is on the Disney end. Does anyone run with/for a group have their lodging/discount information yet? I was just wondering if there were other organizations in the same boat and what the potential hold-up may be.

I am thinking the mouse is re-arrainging lodging patterns for the weekend. I am betting that one of the moderates or eco resorts will have a large section down for refurb in January. Or even the Poly. Seems to be fact that the Poly is the location for a new DVC resort.

Anyway, that is my guess.

Oh, thanks for running under a charity banner. It's something that is 10 times tougher than most folks realize.

Coach, that's what I was thinking~ and actually you probably nailed it because the host resort for our group is supposedly the Polynesian. I know from reading the threads on the resorts board, construction has already started. I was just wondering if there were other groups delayed, or just us with being at the Polynesian.

Thank you for your kind words~ it is a challenge to raise the money we do, but raising the awareness is equally as important to me. These race events have literally changed our lives with the experiences we've had, and it means the world!
